Quicksand: Earthbenders turn certain surfaces to quicksand to immobilize an enemy, or to create a soft landing for themselves should they fall from a height. Sandbenders can also do the reverse of this, compacting sand together to create harder projectiles or a firmer grip on the ground.

Earth Column: A more powerful version of rock projectiles, involving forcing columns of rock out of the ground. Using a similar principle, an earthbender can shoot a stream of small ruts and protrusions from underground at their opponent.

Rock Shield A levitated slab of rock can also double as a shield when positioned in front of a bender. This can also be performed with a slab or sheet of bedrock thrust out of the earth's surface. The shield can be hurled at the opponent for quick retaliation.

Earth Smash: Earthbenders can easily destroy rocks and boulders with tailslaps and kicks, even if they have a small amount of muscle mass. This technique is useful when facing other earthbenders, as it allows the earthbender to destroy any earthen projectiles sent at them and break out of imprisoning techniques. However, it does not seem to affect objects not made of earth.

Shade is not some prissy up-class she-cat that talks about toms and fusses over their fur. Heck. No. In fact, this she-cat is the definition of a total tomboy. After growing up around four toms, it doesn't come as much as a surprise that each of their attributes managed to rub off on her. Just name it: playing rough, getting dirt all up in her fur, burping contests, anything! She's down. ...As long as it doesn't involve water or baths; she's terrified of water in general.

Despite her aggressive nature, Shade can actually quite playful if you come across her the right way. And it doesn't matter what it is either; wrestling, rock climbing, mud fights, she'll do it all. In all honesty, even though its doesn't take much to aggravate her, at the same time it's pretty easy to get her temper back down to something more enjoyable. She loves company, especially those she can consider friends. An easy way to tell if you got to her good side is if she sticks out her paw for a friendly fist bump. After that, you're good to go~

Shade is, the least to say, quite an outspoken cat. She isn't afraid of meeting new faces, and whether she's talking to one cat or a hundred, no matter what the situation this girl is in she will always be able to speak up without getting flustered or nervous. She really enjoys meeting new people, because this gives her a chance to test their skills with a good bit of sparring and get her strength up even more. Besides that though, she just overall wants someone to talk to. Shade despises being alone, and having someone there to keep you company is more than enough for her.

If you are prone to doing things under peer pressure, dislike finding yourself in the middle of a practical joke, or are just too sensitive to take teasing lightly, then you'll probably want to steer clear of a cat like Shade. Whether its getting you to goof off from your duties or trying to get you to spill a secret, Shade usually manages to get her way no matter what the situation. It's not intentional though, for if she knew or was told that someone was very uncomfortable with a specific topic, then of course she'll back up and give you some room to catch your breath. She doesn't approve of pushing things too far, and just needs a little nudge so that she knows when she's crossed the line. She's just trying to have fun is all.

Shade isn't one who's easily intimidated. In fact, she's extremely headstrong and can be one of the first to rush into a battle without a second thought. Though this can be seen as brave, this doesn't mean it's exactly smart. When she puts her mind to it, Shade has the capability of coming up with good strategies and techniques in order to take down a specific threat or opponent. The only problem is that she doesn't always use the time she's given for those reasons. Cussing them out or throwing gestures on the other handdd...well, that's something she'd do any day.

It doesn't take much to get Shade riled up. In fact, all it can take is a single word or action, and this earthbender will be throwing boulders at you faster than lightning. She despises being shown up or looked down upon, and if you happen to be the one standing in her way when that happens, she'll go ballistic with profanity and enraged earthbending no matter who it is. Her level of aggressiveness really depends on the situation though, so you won't have to brace for the worst case scenario on all occurrences.

Shade doesn't entirely understand how to "put something lightly" when it comes to talking about sensitive topics. If she has something to say, then she's gonna say it despite the consequences. So if you ever come across her and want to ask her opinion on a subject, you better be expecting the most honest answer imaginable, because that's exactly what you're gonna get.

Oh yeah. She probably isn't the cockiest, but Shade is definitely one of the most arrogant cats in the clans. She loves talking about herself; boasting about what new trick she learned the other day, or showing-off her strength with a wrestling match. It doesn't take much to get her to talk about herself, but once she starts, she doesn't want to stop. The only way to do that is to show her off by defeating her in a fight. Once you do that, she'll look at you for who you are, and will be willing to consider you as an equal rather than an onlooker. Actions speak louder than words for this girl.

Trying to take in the little shade he managed to get, a long-furred tom could be could lounging about on his back with an irritated expression on his face. It was hot. Way too hot, and with his luck he just had to be born with the thickest pelt of fur one could imagine. Well…others probably had it bad too, but he had thick fur on his EARS for StarClan’s sake. Who in the world has that??

Allowing his gaze to finally be removed from the dandelion he was death-staring, Pouncepaw took a moment to scan the clearing, his attention suddenly being caught by a familiar dappled pelt. Unable to hold back the smirk of amusement, he watched as she seemed to look away from him before she sat down right where she was, her ears pricking at the sound of birdsong.

“Wonderful day, 'innit?” he grunted with emphasis, a mockingly happy expression on his face. “Just gotta love the smell of melting flesh. Just like dandelions, yeah~?” Just as quick as it came, the apprentice allowed his expression to fall back to irritation once more before rolling his eyes, his kinked tail coming to rest by his side.
