Nudgee Catholic Cemetery, Brisbane, 16/03/07. Another reconnaissance mission to a further flung boneyard today. Plenty of statuary but much of it too new, identical & kitsch. Of course, that didn't stop me This pic of an older, more elegant stone is relatively unmolested by Photoshop (levels, converging parallels). I used a polariser for the sky, underexposed by 2/3rds of a stop for colour saturation ... and that stone really was glowing orange in the magic hour sun.
