Firestarter book and movie were nice! Does it remind anyone of the animated movie "Akira"? i think that movie took ideas from this novel and movie

Firestarter was an awesome book! The movie was good to but like so many movies based on books it was not as good as the book.
Akira was a famous manga before it was an anime, unless I'm mistaken which I think I'm not. But both Firestarter and Akira deal with telepathic(telekinetic) powers so they are definetly similar in that regard. You are right. But I don't think either Akira or Firestarter are the first things to touch on tele-powers so I don't think either is like the original creator of such subject matter. I may be wrong, but I think I'm right. Infact Carrie, Stephen Kings first novel, is about telepathic powers. Carrie is a super-awesome book!

Nice work man! I've never read Firestarter, just saw the movie a long time ago. I love the scene you drew here.
