This is one of those things that I did in my latest sketchbook that I like but never posted.

These are both images from Stephen King's "Lisey's Story."
Up top are the "laughers" from Booya Moon. (I think they were called laughers, I can't quite remember, I read the book several months ago). They are creepy, mysterious, monster type being that live just off the beaten path that runs through the magical world of Booya Moon.

At the bottom is a scene from one of the main characters violent childhood. That guy is threatening to cut and let the "bad-gunky out." Maybe it sounds dumb but I actually liked the book very much and it sort of got me back into reading.
