This is fucking awesome! what i do know about this practice, is that theses amazing spirits from the goetia and from any grimiore appear as such because of their vibrational frequency, our limited eyes can only process so much information, so to compensate, our brains interpret the entity to appear that way. once our minds can understand the perception, we can change it, so the spirit appears to shape shift. i see this kind of magick invocation like psychology because they react on subconscious planes and levels - its almost like they are a part of us as we are a part of them like the earth floats in the infinitely extending cosmos....

cheers, i guess this is part of the magick for me too, in that i concentrate on the spirit and its description and find my own interpretation which forms personal links. That being said, they can be more powerful than one may think - and can bring vivid things to the mind as well as produce sudden and inexplicable sickness if not properly employed as i recently found - that corresponded with another persons experience also.

Thanks, the Lion headed figure is an image i am drawn to alot also, and there is no shortage of such spirits and deities so represented in our psyche and mythology. I love the goetic spirits, there is a certain fondness towards them all that i feel.
