Description
This was done for a friend on FAC she's a fan of the Zelda crew ^_^ This was actually my first time drawing Link.Sketched with 0.5mm mechanical pencil
No blending tool was used
Done on regular typing paper

Yeah, pencil can be harder, but that's just for the people who can't shade well.

Oh no! The people who say they don't like pencils just don't know how to shade with them. You are very good with pencils.

Thanks I know a lot of people don't like using mech pencils for shading due to it's "limited range" but I like it ^_^

Wow, just that long? I definetly feel you on the drawing speed....it takes me quite a bit too to get stuff done...but i've been trying to vastly improve upon it quickly cuz i wanna go to animation school and u know how that goes...hehe.

I still can't believe that some people can finish a single pic within 3 hours and it's really detailed to. Sometimes I just think they lie about the time they spend on the pic just to show people that they are fast lol. Most of the time I just guess at the time I spend on a drawing because I loose track of the time lol

How on Earth did you blend this so nicely without using tools? Did you just shade like that using the pecil?
The piece is awesome, so now I'm curious!

^_^ well if you ever felt typing paper it has a glossy smooth surface and so if you draw and shade on it, it'll actually help blend the shades together and so you don't really need a blending tool because the paper does all the blending for you
