Hmmm...yup still need a LOT of practice with realism mostly with proportions and the face.This is a pretty 'big' project (8x12) and it's taking a lot longer than I anticipated I still need to add a background image too. I had to use photoshop and multiply the layers so you can see the lighter shading a lot better.

wow i see. And yeah...good drawing takes time. I honestly used to have the misconception that drawing was some type of "quick" "slam bam, thank you mam" process lol. But it's much more involved than that if your really making things look good.

Hmm everything is perfect except for the mouth and eyes, the shape of the face and out line is perfect, there is somthing about the eye that istn quite right. and the mouth is frowning a little smidge to much. other than that i think everything down to the tinyist detail is perfect! and now looking at it again there might be a smidge of a little much space between the sideburn and ear. however I could never draw anything this good and I think its very realistic. all the texture is fantastic, better than many artists can do. once oyu get the form or rater proportions down; which does not need that muck work at all, you will be more than well on your way. But every drawing you do improves, so i think it will correct tis self naturally.

You're right about the eye and mouth I noticed it after I was done shading it

The form is not as bad as you say it is. I see an inprovement in every picture that you draw! Your shading and textures are perfect, down to very thread and every hair. The shadows show form and 3d reality. very very nice. I am totally impressed!
