Hi guys, I'm back! (hopefully for all of summer
) I have been doing this piece on and off over my exam period (I was lucky that the person who commissioned it let me focus on exams ), so its taken a while, however I finally had the time over the last few days to finish it off! ^^ This is a piece that I did for , It shows a Sangheili General wearing gold armour quickly disposing of some human soldiers with his dual energy swords
This was a fun piece to do and I hope you all like it!
I will be uploading way more often during summer so keep you eyes peeled

Hmm... strange. Elites usually always wear their helmets into battle. From what I've heard its a sign of being ready. This General seems to be an exception

This reminds me when i first started reading the halo novels, the travesties committed against Humanity by the damn Covenant made me play Halo over and over again beating in alien faces. This pic nearly has that same effect.....

Actually its more like hatred towards Truth. His subliminal take over of the Covenant lead to the human/Covenant war. Had it of not been for his own personal ambitions, Humanity may have simply become allies with the covenant, or apart of them. How ironic, the prophet of truth hiding the truth from the covenant, freaking bastard.

Also I hope your exams went good and all? Me I finished my semester too, so I'll also be able to do art for myself again
By the way, did the commissioner asked to draw the general with orange armor lights or was it your own idea? I'm just asking since generals usually have yellow lights and my zealot character is the only sangheili with golden armor and orange lights I've seen so far, so that made me wondering where the idea for that came from

I'm glad to hear that your exams went good. I hope your next semester will turn out just as successful for you
True, that's the very same reason why I changed my zealot's armor to having orange lights too in order to create a nice contrasts to the rather cold blue of the sword. I'd not care too much about every detail when it comes to design, so for me such changes are no problem. I tend to make individual changes as well here and there. And yep, it turned out great with the orange lights!
Oh, that sounds fun! Well then I already wish you a blast of a party for your birthday in two days! ^^

Oh so you are searching for a job just for the summer holidays or are you finished with your studies completely and got your Bachelor and all?
Yeah, but you got to find a good balance between individual details making your character stand out and creating a Mary Sue that is overloaded with "special uniqueness". I try to do not go too freaky with my character designs and only add a few distinctive attributes.
Again, it's no problem. If you find dome time, hop online and we can chat a bit. It's been a while

That's agood goal to draw every day. I hope I can get my lazy ass to draw a bit after work too this summer before uni starts again. Anyways, I'm glad that you consider your drawing skills still awesome. I can't wait to see more!
