I'm a quite a neutral positioned person, in general, so my own obsessions rarely shows at all. Just because I prefer to not be too partial even about my own and dislikes, lol. In best case you can see it on posters in my bedroom, if I've gotten any, lol. And I can tell you, I have a lot of posters. XD

Yeah, I'm a boisterous and excitable person mostly, so I'm very open about what I like (though not so much as what I dislike). :3

I rather not remember. No, but I was calm and hyper at the same time inside and then it burst up on the outside. Calm, hyper, calm, hyper, calm... The seller was certainly amused by my behaviour. XD
I say when I like something, but I don't really obsess about it. XD If I obsess I do it when I'm all alone. XD I even have had people that been shocked when I told then I really like this anime or that paring. XD They just didn't see it coming, since I don't really say anything about my preferences. And even less show them by drawing them. XD

I like talking about things, so I'll be very upfront by saying, "I like x anime~" I'll talk about it in length with my friends who enjoy it too, and draw lots of art or write fanfiction, but that and buying merch is all I'll really do. I won't go picking fights over OTPs! Haha

I certainly don't pick fights with people either. I sometimes talk about pairings with one of my online friends if she start sending links to fan art on msn and there happen to be a pairing I like (or dislike). XD But that's about.
I have a few more I some times talk about anime with, but they have to start the topic with "have you watched x anime?" or something like that. But I don't mention pairings in general - especially not with the offline friends. I actually have no idea why really. I guess I'm just not comfortable with it, lol.

IDK why people feel the need to pick fights. I mean, I've had long, in depth debates/conversations about why I chose to have XxY as an OTP, but they've never gotten nasty. I always try to respect other people's opinons.
Yeah, I don't talk pairings unless someone brings it up first. And I very rarely talk about liking BL and samesex slash pairings, either. IDK. Haha, I was talking about being addicted to Tumblr with a friend of mine from university, and she wanted it. I was like, in the quietest voice possible, "Um... if you don't mind gay partners I'll give it to you--".
So I guess it does have to do with being comfortable? XD

I don't understand it either. I have more or less only seen really ugly fights on the Internet about certain pairings. Even among friends.
I respect others choice in likes, no matter what their reason may be. But when I was younger people gave me a lot of shit because I liked this canon pairing, while everyone else didn't, lol. After that I decided to never give anyone anything crap about their OTPs. Or any pairings at all, I guess.
Well, one of my closest friends offline like BL. I myself like samesex pairings in general. But we never talk about it. At all. And in my case I guess it's not about how comfortable I am with it, I just don't talk about it. Even if someone brings it up. Unless it's with ~Shuwaty , but she knows way too much about me anyway, lol.

Ah? Really? I just make it up as I go along.
Since I write a fair bit, it's (somewhat) easy for me to pick up on characters and such and be able to make up in-character back story to the pictures.
Like even this one. The caption is something like "Tch. It smells like smoke now." instead of just a moe-Izaya for whatever reason. XD
