The best thing about this is its size. I always loved the compact and tight designs of the $3.99 Lego RACERS from the early 2000s, and to see a robot with the same appeal is nice. I'll look at your other designs too, now. Maybe I'll get inspired. It's not like my childhood days where I have room for lots of bricks... Or money to get them.

Totally. I find that building in this scale is the most satisfying. You don't spend hours collecting and sorting pieces to make some huge model, you tinker around with a couple pieces and discover an interesting connection or two and just build off of it. Sometimes I'll crank out a new build from mostly tablescrap in less than an hour.

Oh this guy's cute. Keep-away game with the long range mortar, highly mobile with the jets, and sensors to prevent sneaky units from stealthily-stabbity-death. "Nya nyah, can't hit me, can't catch me!"
