decorative drawing :>
although i'd like to be able to draw/paint realistic pieces too.... but tbh i've only ever done a few realistic studies and they all sucked haha ,  my main style will probably always be decorative :> 

how about you?? i'm guessing you're leaning a bit more towards realism?? more than me in any case

ah then I guess it's no wonder improvement isn't extremely large??? bc when you're only doing decorative drawing, many "mistakes" pass as style and you ignore many things you should study in classic drawing. do you have any all time fave artists than are "art models" or somthing like that for you??

well I want to learn fundamentals to be able to draw complicated bgs and make my works seem more serious, but leave some anime/cartoonish/decorative elements, too :>

i suppose that's true
there are a lot of things i have to learn how to draw properly 
and, ofc i do!! more than i can count!! which is one of the reasons i'm sometimes not sure about what direction i want my art to take < v > 

ahh i see!! hmm i wanna learn how to draw bgs too....you might've noticed but...i never draw them ahahaha
