Mistaken, he must be mistaken! He must've mixed her up with some other omega, how could he assign something to her that she was no good at? Sure she had been practicing and on her few patrols she had managed to catch a few hares or fish after that one hunter she couldn't remember the name of helped her. She was much too big and slow to catch anything, most things were spooked by her or too quick to catch. Oh how she wanted to shout, how she wanted to yell at the alpha for his surprising lack of information and judgement but alas he was gone too soon for her to voice any complaints.

She wandered the sewers after that, panicked and stressed, she now had the official duty of supplying for her pack but how could she do that if she had nothing to show for it? She knew she'd have to ask for help, maybe even lessons to try and perfect or at least improve her skill so she may at the very least help the pack. But there was other news as well, others had gained new ranks just as she had, the most impressive being her brother who had ranked to become the Lead Guard. She shook her head, now was not the time to panic about her own rank, she had someone to congratulate after all...
