Name: Scops/Scoptio (Eros-when he was younger)
Gender: Male
Age: 62
Species: "Scorpion" (as much of one as Taranza is a Tarantula)
Personality
      Scops is a young at heart, outgoing guy with a love of traveling. He’s softhearted and often forgiving to the point of being a pushover at times, and he prefers to avoid arguments with others. Every so often he enjoys a bit of mischief, but he knows well of what boundaries not to cross, since the last time he took it too far he wound up with a large scar on his face from the blade of a Star Warrior.
      Once and awhile he can get a little defensive over things, especially his loyalty to the Galaxy Soldier Army and, somewhat jokingly, his age. He likes being the center of attention; however, he doesn't mind being in the background that much. In fact, if he feels down, he normally tries to isolate himself. Despite his usual success in maintaining a laid-back attitude, his mood can change very quickly under strenuous circumstances.
Background
    Scops was raised by his mother in an abandoned temple-like structure on planet Rock Star (a world from Kirby 64). He’d spend a lot of time wandering the desert, since there wasn’t much else to do.
      In his mid teens, he rescued a soon to be Star Warrior, named Jules, and befriended him. Scops was convinced to join in on the war effort to end Nightmare’s terror and see new lands, despite his mom’s wishes. As strong as he was, it quickly became clear to him and Jules that he wasn’t cut out for the job through his lack of both emotional control and fighting skill.
      He soon withdrew from his position as a soldier in his early twenties, and helped out on the sidelines through a series of odd jobs, such as babysitting the soldiers’ kids. Another one of these tasks was delivering food to the demon beasts held as prisoners on the GSA base. Over time he developed friendships with several inmates, including a dragon named Ila and an intellectual monster named Anzo.
      With careful planning, Scops freed those he trusted. Anzo took little time with his freedom to gather a small group of stronger monsters to launch a successful attack that injured many troops. It established Scops as a traitor of sorts, which is something he doesn’t like to talk about and still has mixed feelings over.
      In his late thirties he moved to planet Floria (a world from Kirby Super Star) with Jules, who was now too badly injured to continue fighting. When his friend recovered he took up a job in the nearby village as a restaurant server and singer on occasion, where he worked for the next ten years. He quit immediately after Jules passed away, and left Floria to travel the cosmos. Nowadays he drifts from place to place, currently residing on Shiver Star.
Likes: singing, rock music, long dress coats, root beer, snickerdoodles, s’mores, autumn, the photo album he keeps in his coat pocket, collecting postcards, referring to just about anyone using terms of endearment (“love” is the one he uses the most), believing he’s still in his forties, and camping

Dislikes: high-pitched noises, peppermint, the limitations of his claws, not wearing armor, cemeteries, stinging someone, living in one place for more than a year

has seven eyes, one is missing due to a stray arrow during one of his few appearances on the battlefield
even with all those eyes, he’s fairly nearsighted
possesses the ability to create small flames with his claws, using the power fatigues him quickly and doesn’t have much purpose outside lighting candles or roasting a marshmallow
