Pluto/Reader one-shot - One Hell of a Hound
-----------------------

"WAAAAHH, NO! BAD PLU-PLU!" You squeal loudly as you are most literally drug through the busy streets of London behind the overly happy dog man known as Pluto. The albino dog like man howled excitedly as he kept charging down the streets hunched down like an actual dog. "Why in the world did Sebastian make me take you today!? You're all wound up!" You cry while trying your best to pull back roughly on the leash that was attached to Pluto's black dog collar. Pluto's head yanks back as you tug on the leash to make him stop running for absolutely no reason. "No, Plu-Plu! Bad boy!" You scold him as he finally stops to look back at you. His bright crimson red eyes squinted as he began whimpering from your harsh tone of voice.

"Just stay still, Pluto! And you need to stand up like a normal person and walk next to me! Not in front of me!" Pluto finally listening to you, he obediently stands up on his two feet and runs over and shoves his face into your chest. If it were anyone else you would have punched them in the face by now but considering it was Pluto who didn't know any better, you allowed it. Nuzzling his head into your chest, he kept whimpering like a kicked puppy. "Pluto…" You mummer and sigh heavily as he sucks up to you. Why Sebastian always picked you to take Pluto on walks was beyond you. If anyone he should have picked Finny! At least Finny had a chance in keeping Pluto pinned down with his strength when he was yanking the leash forward and running aimlessly around London.

Pluto still has his face burrowed in your chest as he turns his red eyes to look up into your own (e/c) eyes. Looking down at his pitiful pouting face, you sigh again and place your hand on top of his head and began to rack your fingers through his soft messy white hair. Pluto's eyes close in delight right as you begin petting him. He always loved when you pet him. The way you did it was better than everyone at the Phantomhive household, even Sebastian. Not in skill, of course, because beating Sebastian in skill was near impossible. It was just because out of everyone at the Phantomhive manor, you were Pluto's personal favorite. When Sebastian hired you to to be a maid with Mey-Rin, you never expected to be entering a household full of very eccentric people. The most eccentric in your opinion was Pluto. The guy didn't even act like a human and sometimes decided not to wear clothes. Fortunately, he was wearing some now since Sebastian forced him into a black suit that Pluto wasn't very fond of before you left the manor. It was embarrassing enough Pluto kept crouching down and running around and barking. The looks you got from people were exceptionally beyond appalled. If only, they knew the things you went through to get this Hell hound to act decent enough to be seen by public eye.

"Why do you keep running ahead of me?" You question Pluto who watches you with full attentiveness. He toothily grins and barks before leaning upwards towards your face and suddenly licking your face. You squeal again and bring out your hands in front of you to push Pluto off from his slobbery kisses all over your face. "Pluto! Stop it!" You whine as he affectionally licked the side of your warm blushing cheek. Shoving him off, your lips pull down into a frown. Pluto sees this unsatisfactory reaction and shrinks back with his own sad puppy dog eyed frown.

"No more kisses! If you're gonna kiss me do it right! I-I mean! Uh… Never mind." Your face goes completely red as you say this. Pluto only tilts his head cutely and watches you with complete interest. "Let's just… go. I need to pick up something Sebastian wanted me to get while we're out. Now you gotta' try and behave, okay?" You tell Pluto with a serious tone of voice to make sure he understood what you weren't messing around. Pluto smiles and nods his head repeatedly while still watching you with intense concentration. He wanted to make (y/n) happy with him! Maybe, he would get a treat for behaving or even better more quality time with you! You were his favorite human after all!

Seeing that he was now staying at your side and not speeding ahead of you and wrenching you around to the point you were almost drug on the ground. You smiled up at him since he was taller than you when he was standing upright like a normal person. "Alright, good boy. If you stay behaved I will make it worth your while. Okay?" He barks excitedly and grabs onto your arm tightly, this making you blush for some unknown reason that you couldn't quite understand. Clearing your throat, you begin walking back through the cobblestone streets of the city with Pluto watching your face as you walked. It was almost a bit discerning how heavily he was concentrating on your face. You couldn't quite stop blushing while thinking about him being so interested in you. You never quite understood why Pluto liked you so much. You remembered when you first arrived at the Phantomhive household. Pluto was instantly drawn into you like a fat kid on cake. He followed you more than your own shadow did and he was and still does constantly try spending time with you. Whenever Sebastian forced him away he would start whimpering and crying, then putting up a big fight that Sebastian was always lucky enough to have to deal with. Pluto always managed to find a way back to you though. One time he literally climbed through a window just to get to you.. which ended with you tackled to the floor with doggy kisses.

Smiling at the thoughts, you and Pluto keep walking arm in arm to the local flower shop to retrieve a large bouquet that was ordered by Ciel for Lady Elizabeth since she was visiting for her birthday tomorrow. Pluto was finally looking away from you but was now glaring passing bystanders. You glance at him and wonder why he was looking the way he did. He growled lowly and seemed to draw closer to you if that was even possible since he already was so close.

"What's wrong Plu-Plu?" You ask him softly with a questioning look. He quickly turns his head to look back at you and whimpers with a sad frown. If you had to guess he was just being overly protective of you and was bothered by the many people around you. He tend to be WAY protective of you, more than anyone else. Smiling gently at Pluto, you pat his head with your free hand. "Its okay, Pluto. What's with you today?" You chuckle as he barks and nuzzles into you as you continue strolling along the sidewalk. "Silly boy." You mummer to yourself and turn a corner to finally reach the green painted flower shop. You pause in front of the store and look at all the arrangements of flowers that were situated out in the front for decoration. They were very beautiful and were all different rainbows of colors. "Aren't these pretty, Pluto?" You say to your doggy companion as you let go of Pluto and go over and gently place your hand under a pink rose and sniff it. It's fragrance was very potent and sweet. The young master picked an exquisite flower shop. Then again, it was probably Sebastian who chose it. Sebastian had a way of always picking the finest of things. It may or may of not been because he was a demon butler from Hell. Just like Pluto was a demon hound from Hell. How'd you end up with these kinda people, anyways?

Backing away you watch Pluto approach the flowers like you had and sniff them too. He shook his head and cringed. His sense of smell must have been much more powerful than your own. You could only imagine what they smelled like to him, probably overpowering if not pleasant. "Too much?" You laugh as Pluto looks back at you questionably. He seemed happy you were laughing as he knew that meant you were happy which made him happy as well. "Come on then, let us get Lady Elizabeth's flowers. I'm sure they will be lovely like Miss. Elizabeth. She'll love them." You say and walk inside the flower shop's door that began chiming with a little bell that was attached to the door. Pluto followed closely behind you and was watching everything from over your shoulder. He seemed to be very intrigued by the new unfamiliar surroundings around him. You also gazed around at the many varieties of flora that were inside the store. A brunette lady dressed in a deep green dress and white apron was at the front of the store as the florist and cashier.

"Hello there! Welcome to my shop. Is there something I can get you?" The lady asked in a sweet polite tone of voice as she smiled at you with her jade green eyes. You turned from looking at a large bouquet of forget-me-nots flowers and then look at her and nod.

"Yes, ma'am. I am here for a bouquet of flowers that had been order by the Phantomhive household. Is it ready?" You ask just as politely and she quickly nods.

"Oh, yes! It is! Let me go and get it for you! It is in the back!" She said with a closed eye smile before turning away to go towards the opened back door to go retrieve the flowers. Pluto stands protectively behind you and had been eyeing the lady down with suspicion. He didn't especially didn't like new people around you, he never knew their intentions. Pluto surprised you when he suddenly lifted you from behind and started walking out of the store. Your eyes were fully wide and you start yelling at Pluto, "Hey! Stop it! What are you doing!?" Pluto decided he didn't trust the lady and wanted to leave. Of course, that was not going to be quite fine and dandy with you as you needed to get the flowers for Elizabeth. "Pluto!"

Pluto turns you around so that you are facing him, he could clearly see the disapproving look on your face. "We can't leave yet! We don't have the flowers!" Pluto whines and then brings you close to him for a hug. He wraps his arms around you and places his face into your (h/l) (h/c) hair. You blush even more as this was a much more human action of him, if not too affectionate. You knew he learned human hugs from you as you would often hug him. He found that he loved hugs and started to always hug you, although Pluto didn't quite get the concept of how long a hug should be. He would stand there and hug you all day if you let him. Blushing furiously, you let him hug you for a moment before it started to get awkward. Sighing you try pushing him away but he doesn't budge. He was enjoying the scent of your hair, it was much better than those flowers he sniffed before.

"Plu-Plu… Y-you can let go now. Thank you for the hug." You said and keep trying to squirm out of the hug but he only embraces you tighter. You were a blushing mess and were hoping he would let you go before the lady got back. It was already awkward but it would be 1000x times worse if the florist lady caught you two in the act. At least, he wasn't licking you…

Patting his back awkwardly you wait for him to let go but it never came. You tried pulling back but he would only keep tugging you back to him extremely close. It wasn't until you heard the sound of the door creaking when you knew it was too late. The lady was back inside the main shop room and was staring over at you two with an odd look. "Uhm, your flowers are here." She says while she sets the giant bouquet of dark and light pink roses with white babies breath and some yellow tulips all neatly done placed in a glass vase. Pluto growls as she comes back into the room, he holds you behind him and bares his sharp teeth at the woman. You blush in embarrassment and finally are capable of breaking free of Pluto's death grip on you. Smiling sheepishly at the lady who now was staring at Pluto with wide eyes. You walk back over towards the counter and apologize, "Sorry about him. Uh, the flowers look beautiful!" You try changing the subject as you turn your (e/c) eyes to look at the bouquet. She nervously shifts her eyes back to you and nods with a faint smile.

"Ah, yes! They are very beautiful. I hope they are to the Earl's liking." She said while you nod and begin to take out your (f/c) coin purse to pay the lady with the money that Sebastian had given you to compensate for the flowers.

"I'm sure he will love them." You say while placing down the money onto the counter. You could feel Pluto lingering behind your back and sticking his chin onto your shoulder as he glowered at the lady. You sigh and try shoving Pluto's face away, making him whine and back away. The florist kept giving creeped out glances to Pluto as she took the money from the counter and watched as you very carefully took the vase into your hands. "Thank you, ma'am." She nods your way and gasps when she notices the leash you had connected to Pluto's collar. You try to ignore this as you quickly begin walking out of the shop in speedy fashion. "That was awkward." You muttered and then glance at Pluto who was staring at the flowers in your hands. "Now Pluto you better not go running when I have these flowers in my hands. If you make me drop them Sebastian with have my head placed on a silver platter. I also don't want to be the reason Elizabeth had a terrible birthday." You say back in your serious tone to Pluto who went over to sniff the flowers. You smile at him and begin walking back in the direction of the Phantomhive estate.

"Let's get going. Sebastian will also have a cow if I stay out too late. There are many preparations that need to be made at the manor for Lady Elizabeth's party." Pluto would have been wagging his tail if he weren't in his human form. He squinted his eyes in a smile and nodded his head with a happy bark. The two of you began walking side by side for awhile in silence. Pluto kept staring at you though, which wasn't really shocking as he seemed really fixated on you today. Not that he wasn't like that any other day. The two of you walk for awhile until you sense Pluto had caught his sights onto something. Your heart drops when you feel the leash in your free hand jerk forward and Pluto was on the chase. Apparently, in the distance he caught eyes with a tabby cat that had been walking across the street and into an alleyway. "N-NO, PLUTO!" You yell and had to do the only thing you could think of to save the flowers from falling and breaking on the ground. You release your hold on the leash and watch Pluto bolt forwards after the cat back on his hunches. You gasp with your one hand rising to your mouth as you watch Pluto chase the cat out of your view and into the alleyway.

Picking up the fronts of your (f/c) dress, you begin running in the direction you saw Pluto dart off too. "Pluto! Come back!" You yell with some worry that you might not be able to get him back. Pluto was panting and chasing the cat that ran inside a small crack in a wall that slipped into a place that was unreachable for the Hell hound. Pluto crouched in front of the crack in the wall. He kept barking with a deep glare on his face. "Pluto!" You yell again and come running into the alleyway to see him fussing over the cat still. Hearing your voice call out to him, Pluto glances at you and whimpers as he looks from you and back to the crack in the brick wall. "Bad boy! You almost made me drop Elizabeth's flowers! Do you want me to get in trouble!?" You narrow your eyes at the albino, who finally looked back to you attentively when he realized the cat wasn't coming back. He lowers his head shamefully and whimpers in sadness. He hated being scolded by you but the tabby cat was just too enticing!

"What do you have to say for yourself- AH!" You almost drop the flowers again as Pluto jumps over and almost tackles you to the ground. He nuzzles his face back in your chest and tries to suck back up to you. Glowering down at the suck-up hound man, you push him off with a couple of tries and finally get him off. "Pluto! If you make me drop these flowers you can forget about any treats!" His red eyes widen in shock and he quickly shakes his head. You sigh and readjust the bouquet in your hand. "Then you better behave until we get back home." Pluto suddenly absolutely shocks you again when he grabs onto you bridal style and begins running off with you in his arms. You hold onto the flowers with both of your hands and were tempted to scream as he bolted with unnatural speed out of the alleyway and in the direction back to the Phantomhive estate.

The ride was shaky and you did end up screaming a couple times but it was a quick trip back. Most thankfully, the flowers were still safe and intact even through that madness. Pluto placed you back down onto your feet at the front steps of the Phantomhive manor. Your hair was a mess from the wind and your eyes were still wide. Pluto grins and thinks he did a good job by getting you home nice and safely. "What a ride…" You mummer and then knock on the door and wait for Sebastian to answer. It only took a few moments for the demon butler to open the door and look down on you and the flowers.

"Ah, you're back and have the flowers with you. Very good." Sebastian says and goes to take the bouquet from your hands. Pluto stays standing by your side and smiling back and forth between you and Sebastian, his two favorite people in the whole world. "So how was your walk with Pluto?" Sebastian asks as he keeps the door open for you to walk inside with Pluto. Glancing from Sebastian to Pluto with a light smile you can't help but chuckle lightly at Pluto's grinning face.

"It went well. We had some setbacks but for the most part Pluto was a good boy." You said and went over and patted Pluto on the head. He smiled at you sweetly while snuggling his head into your hand as you pat him. Sebastian nods his head and smiles with a knowing look in his wine colored eyes. It was clear as day that you had some type of attraction to the demon hound and Sebastian knew it.

Walking inside the manor with Pluto and Sebastian closing the door behind you. You see that the manor was already starting to be decorated with Lady Elizabeth's favorite colors. You could see Bard, Mey-Rin, and Finny all working together to put up happy birthday banners on top of the walls. You watch Sebastian walk away with the flowers and then turn to look at Pluto who was staring at you in expectancy. You notice this and let out an airily laugh, "Alright, Pluto let me go get you a treat." You tell him which makes him almost tackle you with a giant grin. You laugh and then go to the kitchen to get the dog treats. Pluto follows you happily and when you get there you grab the jar and twist it open. Pulling out a giant bone shaped treat, you wave it in front of Pluto's face. His eyes go back and forth watching it until you finally tossed it to him. He jumps and grabs it in his mouth and starts munching on it in delight. Setting the jar back down you watch Pluto devour the treat until he finally finished it within seconds time.

"Was it good, Pluto?" You ask with a smile. Pluto barks and suddenly tackles you with another hug. It was another of those more human like hugs that always made you blush furiously. "I-I guess that's a yes." You chuckle and hug him back. You felt a fluttering in your stomach as you embrace him. It was weird the things you felt for Pluto. You never quite understood them but you swore you had the strangest attraction to the Hell hound. Was that weird of you? He acted like a dog most all the time for goodness sakes! But he was just so sweet and caring about you. Was it wrong to like him?

Shaking your head of your silly thoughts you pull back just enough to look him in the face. He was suddenly seriously concentrating on you which made you wonder what he was thinking. You wish the guy could talk but he only ever barked or whined. "Whatcha doing Pluto?" You question him as he stares at you with a serious look. You never quite seen this look on Pluto before. You were about to pull away when suddenly he leaned forwards and licked your face. You cringe and can't help but chuckle. "No, Plu-Plu!" You say half-heartedly as he continued to lick you all across the face. You push him back and he looks quite disheartened by it. You feel a strange sense of guilt this time by his expression that was none other than an adorable puppy pout. "… You don't kiss someone like that." You say in embarrassment and suddenly step forwards towards Pluto. He stares at you curiously as you timidly reach out to grab Pluto's chin. "If you kiss someone. The proper way to do it is like this." You tell him with a deep blush on your cheeks as you lean in and press your lips up against his own. He doesn't react right away but he seems to really like what you were doing. You pull back, keeping the kiss to just being quick but sweet and nothing more. "That's how you kiss someone." You tell him while still blushing. You had no idea what possessed you to just do that! Now if Pluto learns this he is going to start trying to kiss everyone like that!

Pluto paying absolutely incredible amount of attention to you. He brushes his hand against his lips in curiosity before grinning. You smile at him but end up gasping out loud when he suddenly grabs you and pulls you into another kiss. It was highly awkward and incredibly messy but at the same time it made your heart pound inside your chest. He licked your bottom lip and you without thought open your mouth and suddenly were kissing him with your tongues. It was still awkward but at the same time it was astoundingly sweet. He was trying so hard to do it right and it was amazing that he wasn't actually THAT bad at it. Sure, he was a bit clumsy but it was pretty expected since this was Pluto. You were the one that had to pull back because Pluto wasn't showing any signs of stopping when you ran out of breath. Pluto was smiling at you and you couldn't help but smile back.

"This is so wrong… but I kinda like it." You say to him which only makes him grin more. "Guess you really are one hell of a hound." Petting his head, he nuzzles into it affectionately. Smiling at him you wonder just what you have gotten yourself into by teaching him how to kiss. And boy were you in trouble. For the rest of the day, Pluto followed you and kept trying to kiss you. Shockingly though, he still would never kiss anyone else like that. It was only you. When the next day came it was Elizabeth's birthday party. Everything was fixed up to look very nice and specially cute for her birthday. Pluto and you would sometimes share kisses when no one was around or looking. Or at least you thought you were being sneaky. Sebastian caught you two kissing in the hall when Elizabeth was opening presents with Ciel in the dining room. Sebastian shook his head and smirked.

He knew you just couldn't keep away.
