Description
This is MASK agent Ace Riker Codename: Falcon who is MASK’s surveillance expert.
Growing up in New Mexico near Carlsbad Caverns Ace got into rock collecting as a child and spent much of his youth exploring the vast network of caverns as well as studying the old west due to his ancestry being linked to the Cherokee Indians making him an expert in the subject.
Joining the United States Air Force Ace became a pilot and was assigned to the Air Force where he excelled in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Ace craved more action and excitement than his USAF career was giving him and joined NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) as a test pilot becoming an expert on NASA space exploration vehicles and piloting bleeding edge aircraft.
When the opportunity to join MASK presented itself Ace opted for very early retirement from NASA to join the team where his skills and abilities became invaluable assets to the on their missions.
Ace is a laid back individual with a rugged demeanor and a distinctive calm voice which stays even and calm no matter the situation. Ace has become close friends with his fellow teammate Ali Bombay who has a similar temperament and outlook on life and the two are often partnered together on missions.
Ace owns and operates a hardware store located in his hometown and spends most of his time off fishing, camping or traveling.
Ace has also used his considerable skills as a pilot to become an expert stunt flyer who will perform in air shows or at charity events.
Ace wears Cruise Control mask which can envelope an object or person in a projected energy field that can accelerate or decelerate it’s inertia (momentum) by increasing or decreasing it’s kinetic energy.
For instance if a vehicle is in motion Cruise Control mask can envelope it in it’s energy field and rapidly dissipate it’s kinetic energy stopping the motion of the vehicle and bringing it to a dead stop or it can rapidly increase it’s kinetic energy and speed vehicle’s rate of motion to super speeds.
Cruise Control’s ability to speed an object in motion up is only limited by the material the object is made of. In other words if Cruise Control sped up the forward motion of a car, it could continue to speed the car up until gravitational forces, vibrations and air friction literally tear it apart.
Cruise Control’s targeting system allows it to lock on to moving vehicles or objects as large as a tractor trailer or as small as a bullet. Cruise Control can also project a shield of energy in a four foot radius around it’s wearer in order to rob incoming projectiles of their inertia causing them to drop harmlessly to the ground or direct them at twice their speed back at their source.
Cruise Control mask forms an airtight seal around its wearer and contains its own emergency oxygen supply as well as an internal oxygen mask with a universal attachment that allows it to connect to any air or spacecraft oxygen supply.
Ace wears a heavily padded fire proof experimental pressure suit designed to resist the effects of G-Forces upon his body in flight and especially during super sonic speed. The suit helps maintain a normal body temperature
Ace pilots Meteor a customized McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle stunt jet that can split into a flight pod and tank.
The cockpit section of Meteor separates from the body of the jet becoming a single jet engine powered flight pod. The flight pod is highly maneuverable and able to do tighter turns spins and aerial maneuvers than standard fighter jets.
Meteor’s flight pod carries stun bombs designed to produce a blinding flash of light and an intensely loud sonic boom which is used to temporarily disorient an enemy's senses without causing permanent injury.
Meteor’s tank unit can fire two torpedo missiles from a missile launcher hidden between it’s twin jet engines which are hybrid rockets that can function like standard missiles in ground based combat, surface to air to target flying targets or they can travel through the air for miles, then dive into the water and hit targets like ships in the fashion of a traditional torpedo.
In tank mode Meteor’s jets can function like forward facing sonic cannons and create sonic boom shockwaves powerful enough to shatter glass, bowl enemies off their feet and knock vehicles over.
Meteor’s tank jets can also create a billowing smoke screen to obscure the tank from view or temporarily blind enemies as well as project twin jets of flame capable of melting steel if focused long enough.
Meteor is made of titanium so it’s very lightweight and relies more on it’s speed and offensive/defensive weapons than it’s armor in battle.
Meteor’s belly contains retractable twin tank tread units giving it all terrain capability when locked into place and the ability for the tank to travel on even grade land at 50 MPH.
When in tank mode Meteor’s wings fold down at it’s sides acting as a protective shield for the tank treads.
The rear of the tank where the jet unit separates from the tank unit acts as the tank’s command center platform and the top of the fuselage raises up into a blast shield. Because of the exposed nature of the platform it is more often than not used as a drone rather than operated by Ace who is usually in the cockpit of the flight pod.
Both Meteor’s jet and tank units can act as unmanned drones controlled by whichever vehicle the pilot is commanding at the time or by mental commands sent through Cruise Control mask itself.

Every time I see your MASK artworks, the more I want to see the show and see what it was like. Is it kinda like Inhumanoids? Great work on this and the details about him, gotta adore knowing the background about the characters and their abilities.

Here you go, episode 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CqemA…
It's kind of like GI Joe and Transformers mixed together. You'll see.
It took some digging with Ace because he is barely in the series so I had to watch every episode he was in to cobble this shit together

It's pretty fun to watch, maybe one day they'll bring it back. Like they did with a few other shows of that era.

If they do it won't be the same. They could never make a show like that now unless it was on Cartoon Network late at night
