Description
Gabriel Lan was a Xandarian star ship captain who was abducted off the bridge of his ship by the world devouring Galactus who was in need of a Herald to search out the certain types of planets he could consume. Filled with a strong wanderlust Gabriel accepted the offer and Galactus transformed him into Air Walker granting him silver and gold armor and a wing shaped cloak of fire.

When Galactus departed with Gabriel, Pyreus Kril, the second in command of Gabriel's ship and best friend tirelessly pursued Galactus for years in an attempt to rescue his friend.

When returning from a scouting mission for his master, Air Walker came upon a fleet of aliens who built a weapon powerful enough to slay Galactus. Air Walker protected his master and died for his efforts.

A vengeful Galactus destroyed the fleet and attempted to resurrect his beloved Herald by transferring his essence into a robotic replica of Air Walker's body but the robot lacked the enthusiasm and personality of Gabriel and a saddened Galactus dispatched him to Earth to find the banished Silver Surfer, Galactus' former Herald and bring him back to his former master.

The Air-Walker came to Earth and caused planet wide panic because his name and appearance caused people to think he was the Archangel Gabriel come to trumpet in the end of the world. Battling the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer the Air Walker was damaged and revealed to be a robot.

While Air Walker was away Galactus was boldly confronted by Pyreus Kril. Impressed by the mortal's daring and dedication to his former friend Galactus struck a bargain with Kril and told him if he became his newest Herald, Galactus would reveal the fate of Gabriel Lan. Agreeing Pyreus was transformed into the Herald Firelord and served Galactus for a time before the fate of his friend was revealed to him.

Programmed to self repair the Air Walker revived much later and ended up battling Thor who managed to deactivate the Air Walker by throwing his hammer strait through the Air Walker's chest, wrecking his self repair circuits.

Arriving on Earth much too late to save his friend Firelord took his friend's remains into deep space and buried him on an asteroid marked with cosmic eternal flames.

Years later Firelord, the Silver Surfer and Nova managed to repair and resurrect Air Walker but the still damaged robot attacked his former friends who defended themselves and fried his outer human shell off his robotic body during the brief skirmish.

Air-Walker's personality and recognition of his friends came back and they along with other former Herald Terrax confronted Galactus' new evil Herald Morg in an all out battle that cost Nova her life and damaged Air-Walker. After defeating Morg and burying Nova, Air Walker and Firelord resumed duties as Galactus' Heralds before being released from service once more.

Since then Air Walker gained his former human-like shell but was once again badly damaged during the initial onslaught of the Annihilation Wave invasion force who hunted down all the former Heralds to enslave them. Too damaged to be repaired Air Walker's body was exploded by the Silver Surfer to prevent him from falling into enemy hands.

I decided to do both versions of Air Walker since I like both. The pristine human one and the charred bare bones robotic one. This biography will be placed on both,
