Description

For Boomerang I wanted to play up the fact that his costume was form fitting but also a type of armor since this dude was fighting Iron Man and the Hulk with nothing but boomerangs and flying around in jet boots.

Here's his origin:

Fred Meyers was a major league baseball pitcher who emigrated to the USA from Australia as a small child. Becoming infatuated with baseball Fred became an excellent pitcher and eventually became a major league pitcher as an adult. Always a greedy sort Fred took bribes to throw games and was eventually caught and suspended.

An embittered Fred was contacted by The Secret Empire, a vast subversive criminal organization who offered him work for high pay and revenge on those he felt wronged him. Accepting their offer Fred was outfitted with a costume and weaponry that would take advantage of his uncanny accuracy and power as a pitcher. Dubbing himself Boomerang he went on to fight the Hulk and others on their behalf until the organization crumbled.

Fred retreated to Australia and hid for months where he honed his skills with boomerangs to an incredible degree. Contacting the criminal financier and industrialist Justin Hammer, Fred was outfitted with a sleek armored costume and trick boomerangs and has worked for Hammer and other criminals like The Kingpin ever since.
