This is part of an art trade with my friend Rachel [link] who wanted to be drawn with an alien symbiote attached to her like one of her favorite Marvel villains Carnage.I decided to go for a mid-transformation look so that I could show both her face and the symbiote. I also decided to go with her other favorite colors for the symbiote since making it red and black would have clashed with her red hair and Carnage. I also decided to give her symbiote tendrils on the head to resemble hair since it would add to the feminine look of it overall and also give it more of a wild appearance.
As an afterthought I decided to add in Carnage/Cletus Cassidy in mid transformation as well since I've wanted to draw something with the character for a while and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to do it.

Yes Eddie is Venom again and Carnage is dead again. Also Eddie had a son with his ex wife Anne and now his son is living with him.

since i was a kid i only known eddie as venom i didnt know flash was agent venom till years later and oh man carnage is dead again and oh eddie has a boy cool

Yeah apparently the symbiote is much older than everyone believed and it's been around for decades before Spider-Man brought it to Earth. So it's had a lot of hosts but Eddie seems to be one of the few beings besides Flash who never abused it so it's bonded much more strongly to Eddie than anyone else.
Yeah Carnage died but the symbiote implanted Cletus' "mind" into Norman Osborne so he thinks he's Cletus now. Which is weird.

Yeah Norman is in Ravencroft again I think. It seems like that place is becoming Marvel's version of Arkham Asylum.

His son is like 8 or 9. He's roughly the same age as Normie Osborne, Norman's grandson. He also has some weird power inside him that allowed him to kill a symbiote without touching it when it tried to attack him. So far that bit's a mystery.

It is, they haven't quite explained it yet. The Maker, the evil Reed Richards from the Ultimate Universe has been studying Venom and his son and he figured out the symbiotes spawn an offspring every time there's been some sort of major threat happening. So even though his universe was destroyed he found that the Venom from his universe survived it and rescued it. I don't know how yet but he plans on using it to revive the Ultimate Universe

yeah i heard that carnage ditched cletus to go to silver surfer once the harold of galactus first that then the green goblin making red goblin

Yeah that was during the time Ben Reilly, Spider-Man's clone took over as Spider-Man. It took over Silver Surfer and Ben. I forget how they defeated it. The Red Goblin was more recently. Between then it saved Cletus from being killed by The Sentry when it ripped him in half and threw him into space. After he got back to earth he took over a town by infecting it everyone with symbiotes. After that he found out about a dark God the symbiotes were keeping imprisoned on a planet made of them. So he got killed trying to bring that God to earth. Then Norman Osborn stole the symbiote and became the Red Goblin but it infected his mind with Cletus' personality.
It brought Cletus back as an undead corpse and recreated demonic versions of his Maximum Carnage "family" They went around murdering anyone who wore a symbiote because the aliens leaves bits of their genetics inside their host's spines called a codex. The more Carnage collected the more powerful he became and the more it made him able to summon that dark god. In the end Venom killed Carnage, beat up Osborn and absorbed all the codex's they had absorbed making him more powerful than ever before. But he failed to stop Carnage from releasing the dark god and now it's heading towards Earth.

Yeah basically the only thing animating his corpse was the symbiote. It's like his mind transferred to the symbiote so as long as it's alive he's alive and he can take over anyone he attaches himself to.

It's pretty cool. I mean they finally turned Carnage into a horror comic and it just suits the character. Same as the current Immortal Hulk comics. It's just the craziest horror comic and I love it.

It's the same with the Hulk, I'm glad they have him back into being a horror comic that really dives deep into the mental illness Banner and some other characters have.

Yeah I love Spidey's original costume but I also adore the black costume. He just looked more menacing and creepier in black and white. I also thought his original chrome and black Spider Armor was great. It just sucked it got destroyed in the same issue it debuted in.
If we're talking alternate Spider-Man's I always liked Spider Man 2099.

Yeah the symbiote one but he also wore a fabric one for a while afterwards. From what I know he still has fabric copies of the black costume he just chooses not to wear them because they freak MJ out.

Yeah I don't think being the love interest or significant other of a super hero is a good thing unless they've got super powers. They always get terrorized, kidnapped or killed. I think Daredevil has the worst track record of any super hero when it comes to this.

Bullseye killed Elektra but she came back, and Karen Page with DD's own billy club. Then his wife Mila Donovan was driven irreversibly insane by Mr. Fear. I think the only love interest he's had that wasn't killed or driven mad was the Black Widow.

Elektra and Natasha still go for him sometimes but that's because they can beat the living shit out of Bullseye or anyone else that comes at them

I never liked Ultimate Marvel. In the main MCU he's Lester and Benjamin Poindexter is assumed to an alias among dozens he's used. I kind of like that they keep him mostly an enigma who your never really clear about. Like you can't trust anything he says really unless it's him saying he loves killing people. That's about the only thing he's truthful about.

Two-Face is my absolute favorite Batman villain next to Mr Freeze. I love Riddler as well but it seems like too few people know how to write him well. I love the Flash rogues as well.
I have a lot of ones I love from DC but I think mostly I dig any of the Batman villains and a few of the Superman ones. I was always a big fan of the Legion of Doom and the Injustice Gang and Injustice Society.

Yeah once he got around Starman Shade kind of became chaotic good.
I never played the games but I have read some of the comics and they're pretty brutal. Essentially Lois Lane dies at the hands of the Joker or some villain and Superman snaps and starts murdering villains and some heroes side with him and others side against him. They kind of took the idea of the Marvel's Squadron Supreme limited series from the 1980s and applied it to an alternate DC Universe. Which is funny considering the Squadron Supreme are all Marvel versions of DC heroes and villains.

It's why I always loved Hitman from DC. He was basically a villain who tried to do his best to be a good guy but in the most violent ways possible

He is but until the 1990s Starman books he had always been a thief and later a super criminal. But he was never really as bad as his peers and he mostly did things out of boredom and wanting challenges or something to do because he's essentially immortal. Like his main enemy was Starman and then he befriended him and later his son and actually mentored him when he took over as Starman for a while. It was mostly this friendship and the respect he felt for Starman that made him turn into an anti hero.
Hitman is probably once of the funniest and creepiest comics they made. Basically a Gotham City hitman gets attacked by a demon/alien thing but instead of dying he gains the super power of X-Ray Vision. So he decides to becomes what he considers a good guy and only takes contracts on villains or supernatural jobs that no other merc will touch. Like his first contract is he takes a job to kill the Joker who's locked up in Arkham and he has to break into there and try to kill him. Another time he takes a job to kill a mad scientist who's turning all the animals in the Gotham Zoo into zombies.
He's kind of like Deadpool in a way but without the healing factor or complete insanity. I think you'd really enjoy the books if you can find the collected editions.
