Happy Birthday Aimee!
Aimee loves Spider-Man and Venom so I decided to draw the picture from the perspective of Spidey being attacked by Venom while swinging through the city at night.

Nice perspective use. Oddly I did find one of my old Spiderman novels with Venom (he was in his San Fran living stage) and I remember finding the conflicted 'hero' Venom far more interesting than his earlier "must kill Spidey - only goal" incarnation.

Thanks I was inspired by a Spectacular Spider-Man cover with Spidey and Black Cat being attacked by Hobgoblin.
I liked his "Kill Spidey" phase since without that his attempt at being a hero wouldn't be as interesting to me. Plus other than the original Green Goblin, I think Brock was the only villain that really put Spidey's alter ego through an emotional ringer at every oppertunity and really reveled in it.
Brock is back as Anit-Venom and he's actually taken up his lethal protector crusade again but with a twist. Now because of his new Antivenom suit he can cure people of just about anything if he stabs them with his tendrills. It was funny because his first outing, he almost cured Spider-Man of his Radioactive blood as well as the traces of symbiote left in his body.
The new Venom, Mac Gargan, sucks in my opinion. He was so much better as the crazy Scorpion. If anything I think the suit should have either stayed with Brock or gone to an unknown host instead of Gargan.
