A lot of my friends and watchers have been asking me how to block other deviants who have been harassing them and rather than go though the explanation over and over again I decided to make a visual guide to help anyone out who feels they need to block someone who is bothering them.
Also just so you know once you block someone you are in turn blocked by them automatically. Fair’s fair kids.
You can undo a block on anyone by repeating the steps I’ve shown and removing their name from the block list and pressing Save.
If you unblock someone you can not block them again for another 48 hours if I recall right. So don’t think you can unblock someone, troll them and then block them immediately and get away with it. You won’t.

They won't get any updates from your page like new deviations, journals and the like. Also they won't be able to comment on your page at all.

So if they are bothering you, even if they are a watcher, once you block them they can't bother you again unless they go to the trouble of making a new account. If they do that simply block them again and report them to the DA admins since it's considered harassment and the admins will delete their account and ban them.

Wait, to block means " To Ban" someone? Like if you block a person, that person is Banned?

No, it means they are blocked from commenting on your Deviant Art page and they don't get notifications about anything you post even if you mention them on your page.
If they visit your page the most they can do is look at it and not much else.

If you block someone you can unblock them by removing their name from the block list that is shown in the tutorial.

No, a LONG time ago I had blocked him because he kept fav bombing me to, what I guess, was to make me not care he was an art thief after I had told him to stop stealing my friend's art. Of course then after a while I unblocked him and told him to give me a reason to keep him unblocked, and he had a day to do so.

In my experience the best thing to do is keep an art thief blocked and make other anti art theft groups aware of them. The best way to stop them and get rid of them is having enough people silently report their stolen works.
So I take it he never gave you a good reason to keep him unblocked?

fave bombing doesn't mean anything if he's being reported. That's the reason why its important to silently report an art thief. Never let them know you are reporting them. Also now that he's been reported twice on that page there is going to be a mountain of reports of his thefts hitting the admins of the site.
An art thief fave bombing you or anyone is just another version of them being a troll. Its why I always tell anyone who reports and art thief to block them first. This way they can't troll you at all.

Just from the amount of screen shots in his gallery he's breaking the rules of the site. On top of this he keeps putting stolen images into the screen shots as well as by themselves in his gallery.
So he's pretty much screwed from what I can see.

Plus there is that Stepalo thing he said was a commission, he could be sued for making that.

I don't know about sued but the artist can definitely get him into deep shit, especially if he's one of those thieves that tries to sell other people's work as prints.

They would definitely care if you told them. I had some fuckers try that on me and got my work removed and in once case got their blog shut down.

Okay but if all he's doing is posting box art you can report that and tell the admins of the site that all he's doing is posting scans of box art.
