Moss Man: YOU GODDAMN KIDS! GET OFF MY LAWN!

I’ve always loved Moss Man because he’s kind of the Swamp Thing of the Masters of the Universe set. He looks like he should be a villain or at the very least a savage monster to be avoided but he’s one of the gentler and friendlier Masters despite appearances.

For Moss Man I tried to combine his classic figure with some of the more updated versions and this is what I came up with. I decided to make everything on him except for his belt and bracelets seem like it’s organic including his tunic which I decided to make out of brown grass like a hula skirt rather than fur.

With his mace I tried to keep it like the original except I changed the blades so they looked more axe like and made it look like he formed the wood and vine covered handle over the blades which is something his powers do. I also did the same for his belt knife and pouch.

I made the setting look as fantasy based and magical as possible while at the same time implying it’s ancient by the overgrown ruins he’s standing near. I also purposely made it so he blends in well with his surroundings since this is one of his main abilities in the comics and cartoons.
