Thanks for the help!

This was a really helpful and interesting tutorial. However, the font was somewhat trying to read, and you could kick up the professionalism quite a few notches by using a font other than Comic Sans.

I find it weird that people care about anything regarding fonts more than that they be readable.

My photo classes haven't covered much in the way of lighting yet aside from utilizing window light, open shade, and fill cards, so I found this tutorial to be incredibly helpful. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it!

Thanks for the the knowledge.
I want to start playing around with the strobist-kinda-stuff. I'm trying to save for one pole w/ bracket, umbrella and cord for my flash. So this gives me an idea what the minimal things I need to go in that direction.
Cheers.

I haven't done an article on it but I did some playing with really really cheap strobes. The $50 ones you can get that screw in a lightsocket. And I got some shots that look about the same as what I can get with my $4000 pro gear.

I'd like to add that the green glowy lighting you hate is reflective lighting, I think XD
Also, it could be good! If it's painting etc artists using it, it usually adds a bit of interest or drama to the piece also And it's hard to find good pieces with that kind of lighting in it.
Interesting to see how much stuff you have to go through for this! Still confuses me because I am not a photographer XD But I follow the jist of it!
It's true sometimes, the expensive things are not as good as the cheap things!
