Description
To see this, cross your eyes slightly and overlap the two innermost "ghost" images so they come together. Your brain will interpret the merged image as 3d. For information on how this was made, see [link]Model is Candace
As an experiment, I'll offer this as a print through DA. I'm not as impressed with the quality of the prints DA produces as I am with what I can do with my own printer (see [link] )

This, too, is another super good one for showing the 3D effect.

I think this one works best of all of them.

This is my favorite of your three dimensional works, primarily because the composition takes perfect advantage of the depth possible.

Yeah, it's taken me a while to figure out the right angle, etc.

I always convert these to anaglyphs for my own viewing ... I built a simple routine in Photoshop for it, so it's one-click and instant geekovision

Wow, I don't know if it's because I'm looking at this from across the room (I've got my PC hooked up to my flatpanel TV--it's huge!), but this one really looks awesome in 3D. I'm going to have to back through your gallery now and look at the rest.

Perhaps because there's more depth in this pose than in some of the others?

Im very fond of your photography and use of dark and light values, they really have a lot of debth and feel to them - These in particular are awesome, I love these 3-d images, they're so much fun.

this is a really excellent depth of field with the stereo effect. i prefer free viewing which is more like looking at a 'magic eye' image, although typically you need a smaller image to do it without alot of eyestrain. i have a few in my scraps that are interesting if you want to have a look
ive been using a stereo realist and having alot of fun with that too
awesome work as usual!

This is the ultimate, I tried with the previous one, but I feel as is there is not enough perspective in the pictures, this one is just amazing, I can actually see the girl popping from the ground, I admire you sir!!!

I usually can do it but I find the images too far apart so I can't get it to "single" after the 3D illusion kicks in.

it helps to view the smaller image... I cant get the normal sized image to do it either, but the small view worked perfect for me!

Then I have to explain a few things
1- Geckos are very cute, in my opinion
2- Audi quattro uses a gecko in its advertisements.
3- Audi cars have very rounded lines (especially at the rear of the cars )
So the reason should be clear by now
New title proposal might be:
Cutest Quattro of All Times

Very nice, I always love this effect. Done very well here, the model comes out perfectly in 3D and the pose/photo really adds to the effect and makes her look great. And I agree with asaph70, she's not so flat with all those great curves!

phydeau In reply to satanisk [2008-01-11 04:40:18 +0000 UTC]
Satanisk, I've seen anaglyphs here at DA (in fact, I have one of my own in my scraps). Though they're cool, not everyone is a geek like me and happens to have a pair in arm's reach.
I actually turned one of these by Marcus into an anaglyph just to test the software before I got off my butt and took my own pictures.
Marcus, beautiful work as always.
