I didn't know where to put this particular question, but have you ever used Grumbacher final fixative? I've read on your website that you prefer Damar and Krylon, but I was wondering about Grumbacher...I've been getting mixed reviews on fixative, and are wondering if it's worth risking a drawing to...thanks!

No, never used it. I used their thinner though, back when I did lots of oil painting. I thought it was good.
Thanks for the fave, btw!

This is absolutely incredible, you've done a wonderful job with the shading/shadowing. I love the look in the tigers eyes and the pose of the warrior woman. Just everything about this is stunning. Amazing job.

This is gorgeous! I especially love how the rich foreground scenery fades into the background. The detail is incredible and really adds a lot of depth to the image. I think it fits the title really well too - especially with the setting (or rising? But somehow it seems more like setting) sun in the background, it has a feeling of "goodbye" to it
If there's one thing I can be critical about it's the river - it looks like there's a little waterfall in the middle there, but there's no spray, no splashes as the water crashes down. It looks a bit too smooth, I think. Also the tiger's left front paw (the one next to the girl) looks a little strange... but that's a small thing.
Anyway - all that aside, this is beautiful, emotive, and quite meaningful. Excellent work!
