Once again, technique and shading is pretty flawless...
I am interested more in the outfit he's wearing, though.. is that chainmail under his outer coat?..
Is he a knight, or a soldier?
He appears to be a Paladin from the Dark Ages...

I don't stick to any rules of continuity when it comes to art. I deliberately mix ethnicities, historical eras and cultures. To me, drawing a man in say, Asian dress doesn't mean the man himself MUST be Asian and in Asian surroundigs. He can be a Celt in the Arctic, for all I know. It's fun, it's creative acrobatics... it's fantasy.
But this one is a soldier in my mind. One of our foremost hopes is that for peace, and no one knows the meaning of peace more than those who've been through war.
