Description
The desert tree frog was the first vertebrate to be released on Lithos. Originating from the deserts of Australia, it is very much adapted to the dry conditions present on this planet. They start life as eggs (up to 300 in a cluster) laid on the water. As tadpoles they develop in 2-4 weeks depending on water temperature. They are quite small frogs, only reaching 5 centimeters as adults.
Their diet includes a wide variety of insects and other invertibrates present on Lithos. As tadpoles they feed on algae and small nematodes.
