Description

The bangrove tree is a species of bamboo from the northern continent. It grows in the wetland region of the floodplains and has created a brand new habitat, the bangrove forest. It can grow up to 30 meters tall in the right conditions, but it is very short-lived compared to other trees.

The seeds sprout when the water level is high. After just 2 years, they become mature plants and start producing seeds. Usually, they die after 8 to 10 years. Because of this, these forests have a lot of dead driftwood, which creates perfect hideouts for small animals both underwater and on the drier hills.
