The painters did a wonderful job. It is for the film "Valejyek"(sp) to be release this December.

Ah your very lucky to work on films! What kind of movie is it? Romantic historical? Do you also do small sculpture? I would love to make something so grandious ...I think it would be like going inside of your sculpture like an envoronment!

"Valkarie" is a war film starring Tom Cruise as a soilder of Hitlers. I guess he does not agree with Hitler, and trys to kill him.
I started out doing small figurines. My juliet is 8 inches tall. I have a whole series of little figurines called "Romantic Legends" I never did anything with them, they are sitting in a box at my house. I know I should soon. I got into doing film work 18 years ago, and once in a while I do small sculptures at home. I don't work in foam or do large pieces at home. The foam gets everywhere. I perfer to sculpt large for the studio's. I don't really have a large space to work in. Thanks for writting !

Interesting! I never realy wanted to work for hollywood but, I always wanted my work to be of that level of excellence. And I love to watch the artists behind the scenes of movies as much as the movies themselves.
Oh 8 inches thats about the size I work. Your Juliet is top notch. Beautiful, graceful and very detailed. I especialy like the way the hair is sculpted.

Im so happy to hear I could help a bit. Ive been a tad uninspired too with too little good happening,but I feel Im going back now to more inspired.

I hope to see alot more of your work ! If you have been in the buisness 18 years you must have some incredible things!
Seeing the taleted sculptors here helps me thinking what I can improve at first I get sad because always there more I need to do and fix,but later I get excited to try again to do my best attempt ever. I always think the next will be a breakthrough!

Everything will work out. I am up and about today with alot of rest, and feel that something good will happen. Maybe soon, I can have a clear mind and sculpt again.

The sculpture is made from 2 pound polyurathane foam, then it is hard coated with resin, and this is then painted to look like marble. Welcome to Hollywood!
