Description
This is easily one of the best Dr. Seuss adaptations ever. Even though that isn't saying much I will say that this show now sets the top of that bar. When this show was first announced I thought it would just be a cash grab but that isn't the case whatsoever. This is a genuinely great cartoon. It has very likable, charming, and well written characters with my favorites being Guy Am I, E.B., and Gluntz. The writing is very good with plenty of good character interactions, hilarious jokes, well done drama and emotional moments, and with a few twists and turns that I actually didn't see coming. Quite possibly the best thing about this show is the animation though. This is theater quality stuff even though it is just a Netflix show. Also, the theme song is easily one of my new favorites. I have just been listening to it on repeat throughout the entire process of writing this review. It gets across the moral of trying new things incredibly well. I just find it ironic that I didn't think that this show would be any good when I first heard about it but after trying it I ended up loving it. If I had just listened to the moral of the old book than I might have tried out this show sooner.
