Here are my thoughts on the Illumination Entertainment movie Sing. When I first saw the trailers for this movie I thought that it would probably be okay and thought it would've been work checking out. I am glad that I did because I love this movie. It has show stopping song performances that make you want to sing along, quite a few funny moments, an interesting story, wonderful animation, and at the center of everything a good amount of heart. If I were to have any problems with this movie it would be that the stories are mostly simplistic and that there are a couple of jokes that are obviously in there for the little kids, but besides that this is a movie that I think almost anybody would be able to enjoy. The best part of this movie are surprisingly enough the characters themselves. Almost all of them are as lovable as they are entertaining. A lot of people would be able to easily relate to characters like Rosita, Johnny, Meena, Ash, and Buster Moon. Even though Mike was a jerk I think that he was still hilarious and very entertaining. If you haven't seen this movie I recommend checking it out. It might just surprise you.
