With humble beginnings as a passion project of Monty Oum (who previously created Haloid and worked on Red Vs Blue) RWBY has quickly become an insanely popular cartoon that has become its own media franchise with a spinoff show (RWBY Chibi), video games, manga, and a comic book. Sadly the creator Monty Oum died back in 2015 but the show continued without. The first and second seasons were alright yet shaky in quality, but season 3 and onward have made it into one of my favorite cartoons. The characters are likable and very well developed with some of my favorites being Ruby, Yang, Qrow, and Nora. The story is incredibly well written and consistently leaving you wanting to see more of it unfold with many moments that will put you at the edge of your seat. The fight scenes are easily some of the best I have seen in cartoons and perhaps ever animation as a whole with how well choreographed and exciting they are to watch. The soundtrack is easily among my favorite I have ever heard in a cartoon with Jeff Williams (the composer) being a big part of why it is so awesome. It is just as exciting and emotional as the show itself and matches perfectly. The composers daughter, Casey Lee Williams does the singing and I have to say that her voice is amazing. I love this show and can't wait to see what it does next. Obviously I highly recommend it.
