Okay these were my thoughts:
Okay (seemed kinda stupid)
Meh (it was good until the ending)
Good (it was a good episode but some flaws)
Good (liked it but I kinda expected more like to see krabs navy buddy's)

I saw the two new episodes today.
Lost In Bikini Bottom was okayish, it was alright and had its moments but some parts felt too crunched up, I think this would have been better off as a half hour episode instead.
Tutor Sauce though was pretty good! Mr. Krabs was really likable here and very nice. The jokes in the episode were pretty funny as well! The ending I felt was a bit forced and cruel for Krabs but it didn't ruin the experience.

I think that squirrel record was just meh.
SpongeBob, you're fired was bad.
Lost in Bikini bottom was good.
And tutor sauce was great.

After putting myself through SpongeBob, You're Fired again, I can now confirm that it is even worse than Pet Sitter Pat. Which means SYF! is now my most hated episode of the series.

That is honestly surprising that it wasn't one of their episodes. Did you know Zeus Cervas is currently writing for Clarence, Star Vs The Forces Of Evil, and Harvey Beaks and has actually written very good episodes on them?

Also, I feel like pointing out that Derek Iversen wins my award for most improved writer on SpongeBob. He went from writing some of the worst episodes of Seasons 6 and 7, to writing three out of my top five favorite episodes of Season 9.

I agree this season is an improvement from Seasons 6-8, and is close to Seasons 4-5 range. The good episodes of the season are pretty rememberable, and of the bad episodes, really only my bottom 3 I truly hate (Squid Baby is somewhere in the upper range of my top 20 worst, SpongeBob You're Fired is 9th worst, and Little Yellow Book (Which I have a BURNING hatred toward and made me take a break in watching the Season in fear the aftermath would make me hate the later episodes of the Season more than I should) is currently my 4th worst, behind Truth or Square, One Coarse Meal, and Pet Sitter Pat).

SpongeBob, You're Fired! also ranks as my second worst episode of the entire series, behind Season 8's Pet Sitter Pat (an even worse version of A Pal for Gary, with the same three writers).

My least favorite was Squid Baby. Spongebob, You're Fired! was mediocre if you ask me.

Squid Baby was awful, don't get me wrong, and so was Little Yellow Book. But SpongeBob You're Fired! for me is the worst of the season, because of how unnecessary it was and how much contempt the episode showed for its fanbase. And most importantly, Krabs fired SpongeBob over a fucking nickel. SpongeBob has made millions of dollars for that cheapskate.

In general, Season 9 was the best season since Season 4, IMO. So I'll talk about some good episodes. Evil Spatula for instance, is widely considered to be superior to All That Glitters. Ironically, Zeus Cervas co-wrote both of those episodes.
