I already really loved Steven Universe, but this season might have just made it into my favorite cartoon of all time. It easily contains some of the best episodes the show has ever had and stays a consistently high quality throughout its entirety. It has all of the interesting story progression, well written character development, effective drama, heartfelt emotional scenes, epic fight scenes, beautiful songs, fantastic animation, and the overall feeling of love that the show is known for. This season makes me care a lot about just about every character involved including some I didn't really care much about before like Lars and Yellow Diamond. The season ends with an absolutely stellar episode that delivers on just about everything the show was building up towards. My favorite episodes in the season have to be Off Colors, Jungle Moon, A Single Pale Rose, Reunited, and Change Your Mind. I am not sure where the show is going from here or if it is even continuing, but I look forward to whatever they are doing next. This is my favorite season of Steven Universe. There are so many amazing episodes that it's hard to choose favorite episodes from this season.

Something tells me that this was supposed to be the final season and that Change Your Mind was supposed to be the series finale, but then they changed mind and renewed the series for a bit longer. I don't know, Change Your Mind STRONGLY feels like a series finale, even more than MLP's Magical Mystery Cure at the time the S3 was supposed to be the final one (althought to be fair, that one was slightly adjusted, because of the fact they renewed the show for longer).... I'm not quite sure if I'm willing to go on with the show after that one, I feel like it would have been a satisfying ending, and I kinda wish to consider it as such. I'm gonna watch the Movie regardless, but I'm not really sure if I will go onward afterward...Β

I will watch anything the show will give me because I love it. I wouldn't mind if they make another season of pure epilogue. I watch the show for the characters first and foremost above anything else.

Ah... it's... not just that for me. It's just that I'm having an hard time in finding... time to enjoy shows nowadays. And considering the gaps in the airings of the various SU eps, it has become quite hard for me to follow it. That's mostly the reason I'm willing to stop with CYM, with the Movie being an exception...
