Musical Fountain Pony Species FAQ
MFP, CFP and LSP's are a CLOSED SPECIES!
Musical Fountain Ponies
MFP stands for "Musical Fountain Pony". They are based off of the Dancing Fountain Speakers.
As you can probably tell by the guides at the top, the ponies legs consist of these speaker designs. However their uniqueness doesn't stop at their legs. Their ears, wings, and any horns they have are also made out of glass or plastic. Their horns generally have an LED inside of them that glow when they use magic, and the base of their tails are wires. Another peculiar feature of theirs is that their manes and tails always sparkle, and they also have a set of LED's in various shapes on their backs that semi act as Cutie Marks. Basically these guys are really fun at parties
As you can see, the main difference between a common and a RARE mfp is the body color. I hope this clarifies that!
Species rules:
1.) Read the FAQ above for more info on the species.
2.) You are NOT allowed to make your own
3.) Common means it CANNOT have a light/pastel colored body.

So i had made one a while back, and recently i have wanted to redesign her (she was approved before, i believe) and i was asking is it okay if i redesign her now since they are closed.

Depends on how you want to redesign her?
If she's a common you can't change her coat color to something light. And if she has LED's then you can change the shape but you can't remove them otherwise that'd be adding an uncommon trait.

Are Myos open? I heard that you can make one free myo and show it to y'all so it can be approved. Is this true?

It used to be that way, but due to complications with people following the rules with the 1 free MYO we ended up having to close the species.

Over time it has come to our attention that there have been a number of infractions against the MFP/CFP/LSP species rules. These infractions include, but are not limited to:
1.) Using Rare traits without permission
2.) Not authenticating their MFP/CFP/LSP by getting mlpdarksparx's or NightHowl019's approval
3.) Grossely misinterpreting the species traits (MFP legs with LSP Tails, missing sparkles in the hair, etc)
4.) Not giving proper credit for the species
We tried to be fair with this species. We wanted to share them with the community members and make them available even to those low on points. However this has created some confusion on our species rules and just how open they were. People saw others making their own and assumed they were 100% open, and therefor started making more WITHOUT following the species guides. Thanks to this, me and Night have come to a decision.

The rules generally are that when you make one for the first time you gotta have me or Nikki approve it. Afterwards you don't have to credit us other than when people ask about who made the species and such. ^^
