Description
So yeah, this one I've been working for a while. What with the holidays I kept having to stop at certain points and get back to it the next day.
I've noticed quite a few people in the Brony fandom who are also TLK fans. So, I did my first real Cross-Over Art.
First times in this piece:
1. Never drew Scar Before. (Or any Lion King character)
2. First time drawing Apple Jack.
3. Used the Pencil Brush for most of this piece. (Usually use the crayon tool instead)
4. Tried outlining in think black lines rather than color.
5. Attempted a sort of reflective heat on the ground in the BG. (Came out too blue)
6. Used a new brush for the grass in the foreground.
7. Never tried drawing more than 3 characters in the same piece.
Problems I've noticed with this piece so far.
1. Scar's head seems a little too small still.
2. Shadows are too light
3. Scar's Mane is a bit light (although I used the color picker from a screen shot, so that actually is the right color)
4. Scar looks a bit too much like Mufasa.
So, if you notice anything else don't hesitate to mention it! Now, off to finishing Karen Skulline.

Time taken: 7 hours 45 min total
Tools used: Wacom Bamboo Tablet, pencil tool, crayon tool, Pencil brush tool, curve tool, eraser, color picker, fill bucket.

i'm going to say like wow, I really do love your style, it looks a bit like Mufasa but the eyes make the ilussion that is different
Love the feet it's very difficult to make feet like that
The shadows and lights are very well made
My favorite was Rarity because she was like " I.. need... to... place... the bow! "
Maybe the cutie marks are very small but at least you did them that they're very important in the ponies
Very Well made the background, the grass was the most impressive part of the background for me

and I like the idea of applejack bucking Scar, I don't know if this is what you though but Like applejack is honesty and Scar lied to all the lions i think its very good reason for her to buck him

For RD I have no words, as for little Twilly, AAAAAARRGG SO CUTE! And Scar using the classic line: I'm surrounded by idiots........Poor Scar! Well, At impact I give five stars at everything except Impact because I have no idea what does impact means.
First of all, Lol Looks damn adorable!! ^^ I especially D'AWW'ed at seeing a tiny Applejack trying to buck Scar. XD Too cute!
Alrighty! So, critique eh? I'll give it a go then.
His claws need to be black and thicker, curved a tad more toward the ground. Around his chops (lips) needs to be darker. Around his paw tips (fingertips?) and his mouth needs to be brighter, though that color is good too but if you're going for precision, it needs to be more of an off white. Nose needs to be black, and I know you already noted the mane, so there's that. I like the textures though! The mane six are very well done! You got their colors done really well!
Overall, I love it! I like the thought put into this piece. If I may say, though, I think it would've been funnier if you had Rarity braided his beard and tied it off with another bow, with Rainbow Dash pulling his tail. But that's just a thought. Very nice!! 9 out of 10!

I wish I had this version of MS paint, I still wouldn't be as good as you are but at least I wouldn't need to create each seperate colour for shading. Very well done on this piece!

I don't think friendship would've saved the Pridelands.... at least in the turn Taka into a good guy way. The girls would've been better off with the Pridelanders. I'm pretty sure Kiara would've gotten a kick outta the Equestrians... if the family didn't try eating them first. Preds, go figure.
