With the first season of MLP:FiM finally over, I was starting to experience pony withdrawl! The solution? Make my own OC pony pharmacist to help me get my fix!This is Dr. Macon Mixx, Ponyville's local druggist. You can find his back-story here . His name is a play on the phrase "mix and make", a common instruction in pharmaceutical preparation.
The vector is based on this sketch . It's better than my first vector of Macon, but I know I have a lot of room for improvement. Any tips you have to offer are more than welcome!

First I did a sketch on the back of my medicinal chemistry notes when I should have been paying attention to what was going on in class.
Then I vectorized it using Inkscape . It's a really great program. You should give it a try. It's certainly not Adobe Flash, but it's free, so you've not lost anything if you decide you don't like it.

Ha. I guess medical chemistry is less important if you have a magic unicorn doctor to help.
Yeah, I already use Inkscape for pretty much everything vector based I do. It is pretty nice for a free program.
