Firefly and Rainbow Blaze met at a sporting event showcasing the Wonder Bolts. Blaze was there with his niece, he had brought her out with him as one of their uncle and niece days out. He wanted to join them and share his love of the group with his niece. Rainbow Dash had wondered off and Firefly was the one to find her and stay with her until her very panicked uncle found them. He thanked her for watching after her and offered to buy her dinner to show his gratitude. She accepted and pretty soon would join him and Rainbow Dash on their days out. When he tried out for the Wonder Bolts she was there with Rainbow Dash to cheer him on. They married a year later and had their daughter Rainbow Spark on the anniversary of his acceptance. He retired early in favor of a job that would let him work with youths like his niece and daughter, furthing instilling a love of sports and the Wonder Bolts into the next generation.

Bow Hothoof met Windy Whistles when they were in school. He was a jock and she was a cheerleader. They got together and became sweethearts. They got married young and didn't plan on having any children. This was partly due Bow practically raising his brother, they were several years apart and he was often left to just care for him. Windy wasn't fond of the idea of kids as she just didn't want to be held back from experiencing everything life had to offer. It was a complete shock and scare to them when Windy found out she was pregnant. Bow was in his prime and was working in sports entertainment. They had considered giving the baby up, but it didn't go down that way. Windy went into labor while Bow was working, she needed an emergency c-section as the baby was facing the wrong way. Bow, worried for his wife, tried to leave work, but they wouldn't let him. He quit then and there and flew as fast as he could to the hospital, performing the first ever Rainboom. There he passed out after barging in on the doctors performing her surgery. When he came to he was in the same room as Windy. She greeted him and he apologized for not being there when she needed him, but she let it go. The nurse asked if they'd like to see the baby before making their final decision. Unsure they nodded hesitantly. Any doubts and fears they had vanished when Rainbow was given to them. She was the light of their lives and they treated her as such. Bow later got a job working in the rainbow factory (not the scary thing).

Breezy Serenade is the younger twin sister of Windy Whistles. Unlike her sister, she never wished to be tied down to anypony and lives a full independent life. Similar to her sister, she also didn't want to have children. When she was younger she was a bit of a wild child, but mellowed out and is more into vacationing with the gals and having a glass of wine. She is Rainbow's "cool" aunt, mostly due to getting her whatever she wants and not imposing many rules upon her as she was "not her responsibility".

Mr. and Mrs. Shy had a somewhat odd and slow-burn romance. Posey Shy had actually already been married when she met Gentle Breeze. He had popped into her flower shop looking to get a bouquet for his mother for Mare's Day. It was love at first sight for him and he flirted with her playfully. Posey being married would reject him and did so for several months. Eventually she had been having a bad day when the older Gentle Breeze walked in, ready to flirt with her. She flirted back with him for the first time that day, prompting him to ask how she was. She opened up to him and the two grew a little bit closer. Things would continue like this for a bout a year. Eventually she had opened up to him about wanting to have a child and her husband not being interested. This lead to some risky flirting and four months down the line she accepted a date with him. They started dating in secret, but never went too far. Two years into their affair this changed and she became pregnant. At first she called it all off afraid of what would happen to them all if her husband found out. She gave birth to Fluttershy and was able to pass her off as his daughter. Gentle still came to her shop to see her and his very young daughter. A year later they start their relationship up again. Her husband starts to catch on and threaten her. This leads her to taking Fluttershy and moving in with a friend while he searched for her. With the help of police she is able to get her things and divorce him. Gentle Breeze moves her in with him and they have their second child, Zephyr Breeze. As Fluttershy was too young she doesn't really remember all of this, but vaguely remembers their wedding.

Gen 2

Rainbow Spark is the only child of Firefly and Rainbow Blaze. She works as a reporter and enjoys helping out her dear old uncle Bow at the Rainbow Factory as a part time job. She used to be close with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy before they moved away to Ponyville. She sends letters regularly to Rainbow Dash, keeping her updated on how things are back home.

Having been fillyhood friends with Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash also grew up knowing Zephyr. He was infatuated with her since they were foals. After MANY years of pushing her to date him she caved in, agreeing to go on one date if he would shut-up after. The date went rather well and they even hooked up, but she didn't want to be tied down. They would date on and off, sometimes secretly, sometimes they would just hook up when one of them felt the need (mainly Rainbow). Of course this led to her getting pregnant, something Fluttershy suspected would happen, but didn't say anything and simply supported them for the sake of her niece or nephew. Rainbow gives birth to a filly which remained unnamed for THREE MONTHS. Eventually they settled on Breezie Wishes after Fluttershy lost her temper with them.

Fluttershy was good friends with Tree Hugger and through her, met Geronimo, her [Tree Hugger's] older brother. The two were swept up in their devotion to helping animals and plants that before they knew it they had already fallen in love. At one point they had gone on a trip together to meet his parents (not gonna be shown) where they were made to drink a lot of local 'juice' and hop over a stick after several other odd things before attending a big celebration. This apparently 'bonded' them and meant they were legally? married? (at least where they are from) now. They never planned anything and just embraced whatever life threw their way, such as their first child, Peony. Her pregnancy with him was very easy and she knew almost right away. He was so easy to raise and though they thought one was enough, they did nothing to keep the number at one. Fluttershy actually had no idea she was pregnant again until she was in labor, something that was rather alarming, Discord had actually showed up and against his 'wife' 's wishes used his magic to help Fluttershy give birth to her daughter, Floral Whisper. Floral (or Flora) was the opposite of her brother. Loud, rambunctious and very outgoing (knows not of stranger danger). Fluttershy had felt sick the entire pregnancy (though was never confirmed pregnant) and the birth was... straining on her.

Discord was very put off by the idea of befriending Tree Hugger and was in love with Fluttershy. Imagine his frustration and disbelief when she went and married that 'Higher than the Sky Hippie' as he called him. He actually went to Tree Hugger to vent about all of this. She let him vent before kindly warning him he was talking about her brother. Discord apologized and the two became some kind of friends. Discord then had the brilliant idea to make Fluttershy jealous by jumping over a stick with Tree Hugger, but that did nothing and when he asked her how to undo their union she said, "No. Idea. Just chill out dude." Then proceeded to hug him while he deflated. Discord was at a loss and just didn't know what to do, eventually he caved after Peony was born. He went to Tree Hugger, his 'wife' sought comfort from her, pretending she was really Fluttershy. This resulted in their son, Willow. Discord still loves Fluttershy, but he loves his son too and by extension cares for the mother of his child. Tree Hugger was supposed to be helping Fluttershy when she went into labor with Floral Whisper, but there were complications that lead to Discord stepping in even though they all wanted a natural birth. (Fluttershy actually thanked him as it saved her and her daughter's lives)

Gen 3

Breezie Wishes is very much a Mama's girl, loving story times and the thrill of adventure. She finds her father annoying. but tolerable. She idolizes Daring Do.

Peony is a very quiet stallion, often mistaken for being a mare as he has a very soft demeanor and lushes mane. He is polite when it is required, but doesn't take kindly to those who are rude. He is a doctor (well in the process of becoming one) and is rather looked up to. Those he works with know not to bother him as he is known to have a bad temper when agitated. He absolutely adores his little sister though and caves in when she asks for things.

Floral Whisper is very outgoing and loud, quite off putting to those who like peace and quiet. She isn't rebellious she just loves life and follows that feeling in her chest and the whispers of the wind. She is seen as a bit cooky and obnoxious, but she is aware of this and ignores these thoughts. She loves her big brother and knows he watches out for her, she is constantly on the lookout for the perfect match for him as she thinks he deserves the world.

Willow is very in tune with nature. He spends a lot of time wandering off into woods, swamps, jungles and just anywhere with a dense enough plant and animal life force resonating around it. He is constantly sleeping and dream walking in his own little chaos pocket (obviously only accessible via sleeping). He loves volunteering with his aunt and works at her sanctuary.
