Gen 1

Feldspar Granite Pie is a (very) distant cousin of the Apple family. He met his wife Diane when they were in their late 30's. Igneous was their miracle child.

Diane Pie is "Granny Pie". She was a warm and loving mare who enjoyed making others smile, a trait passed on to Pinkie Pie.

Pinkamena is "Nana Pinkie". She was very adventurous and studious, often traveling and learning about local myths. She ended up as a single mother to Cloudy Quartz due to a fling in a foreign country.

Gen 2

Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz had a bit of a slow burn romance. He met the young Cloudy Quartz on her travels with her mother, they got on really well, but were compeletly platonic until she had moved away for a while and returned to Ponyville in her late 20's. Igneous almost didn't recognize her. They spent more time together and eventually pursued a relationship. Igneous originally wanted sons, but after having his first little girl, Limestone, he decided girls were better than boys.

Cloudy is actually a half generation younger than Igneous, making him slightly younger than her own mother, which is partly why it took so long for them to eventually marry. Her talent is less to do with mining and more with polishing gems. She gave Pinkie a lot of lectures as she grew up, but really she just knew how scary the real world could be and didn't want her little angel to get hurt by it, especially after her Nana would fill her head with stories of adventures that she and Granny Pie would have to calm her down from.

Gen 3

Limestone Pie is the oldest of the Pie sisters and the one who will inherit the farm. Her specialty is tilling the land and creating alkaline soils, but she does pretty much everything she can to run the farm smoothly. She is a big stickler for tradition and a bit of a hard-ass at times, but her family is the most important thing to her. Limestone refuses to get married after finding out she can't have foals of her own. She loves all of her nieces and nephews, but is the closest to Pinkie's son who goes to her about his problems. She is suspicious of who his father is, but Pinkie is tight lipped. Something tells her if she pushes too much it may end badly for all of them. Limestone wanted to leave the farm to Pinkie's son, but knew that he didn't want it and that Marble's son would be the best suited to take on the responsibility. This leads her to training her younger nephew who is more than thrilled about the opportunity.

Maud Pie is the second oldest of the Pie sisters and is married to her long time boyfriend, Mudbriar. They have a daughter together and lead quite an exhilarating life as they are often going exploring together. Her love for adventure coming from listening to Nana Pinkie's stories as a filly. Now and then she feels like something is wrong, but when she questions Mudbriar he has no idea what she is talking about.

Mudbriar is Maud Pie's husband and loves her dearly. He gets on well enough with most of her family (though Limestone and Marble don't really care for him) except for Pinkie. He and Pinkie were rather open about not getting along when he and Maud first got together. It wasn't until Maud got pregnant that things between them got a little better. During the time Maud was pregnant Pinkie moved in temporarily to help out as Maud was bedridden and Mudbriar wasn't very helpful around the house. His friendship with Pinkie had grown a lot, but at some point had crossed the line as they started stealing glances at each other and sharing secret kisses. Pinkie tried to end the affair a few times, one of them being right after Maud gave birth to his daughter. Mudbriar knew what they were doing was wrong, but would still coax her into being with him, this ultimately led to Pinkie moving far away to give birth to his son in secret and in doing so, ended their affair. His relationship with Pinkie is damaged beyond repair and he can't get too close to his son or he will lose Maud and his daughter so he is forced to pretend that nothing ever happened. He secretly harbors resentment towards Silver Zoom for being with Pinkie and his son despite not actually wanting to be with them in that way.

Pinkamena Diane Pie, otherwise known as Pinkie Pie, is the third daughter of Igneous and Cloudy and older twin of Marble Pie, making her the second youngest of the Pie sisters. She is named in honor of both of her grandmothers. In an attempt to make her older sister, Maud, happy and to unite their family before her niece is born she tries to befriend Mudbriar. They end up getting too close and she enters into a long, messy affair with him, starting when Maud is pregnant. It ends almost two years later when she gives birth to his son. She moves away from her family and Ponyville as she is unable to face her mistakes. Rainbow is the one who gets through to her and for a little while has her move in with her. While staying with Rainbow she meets Silver Zoom who entertains her son when he isn't working. Pinkie is grateful to the both of them and finds the courage to move back into Ponyville, but on her own this time. Rainbow and Silver help her move her things and she begins reconnecting with her friends, stating her son is from a snobby upper-class guy. Silver continues to help her out and eventually the two start dating. When they go to meet her family he claims her son is his, obviously he isn't, but they accept this. They later have a daughter together and he officially adopts her son as his own. He has no idea about the real situation.

Silver Zoom met Pinkie when he was on break. She was coming to visit Rainbow with her son. He found her attractive and charming and was almost instantly best buds with her son. He loves her and their odd little family very dearly. It is unclear what he would do if he ever found out about her and Mudbriar.

Marble Pie is the youngest daughter, twin and Pie sister. She has always been very quiet and timid, but is about as talkative as Fluttershy used to be once you get to know her! She met Rockhoof at Twilight's School of Friendship. She would sometimes go to pick up or drop off her older niece and nephew while babysitting Pinkie's daughter. She first met him looking for Pinkie's son. Their romance was slow going and steady, but beautiful. She actually ended up sitting in on a few of his lectures and story times. They get married later on and have a son together who is a bit socially awkward, but very earnest in all that he does and tries to do. Her special talent was polishing stones into marbles and using them for all sorts of things from decor to game pieces.

Rockhoof is over 1000 years old thanks to the spell to seal Stygian away with the pillars and then again to Twilight for breaking that spell. He is a retired war hero who does guest lectures at Twilight's school. He was already close to the Pie family having friendly competitions with Maud's daughter on who had the better adventure (she was often the winner) and sharing stories with Pinkie's son whenever he was anxious. He fell in love with the kind and beautiful Marble as she always paid close attention to his stories. She may have grown up on a rock farm and in a very old fashioned family, but she did still like to hear about his life and his interests. Her folks were welcoming and he fit right in, helping out on the farm and doing all sorts of chores. As big and as strong as he is when it comes to Marble he is very gentle with her. He struggles a little bit being a father, but he loves his son and does his best to let him know the he is proud of him.

Rowina Pie, often called Roni is the only daughter of Maud and Mudbriar and the oldest of the fourth generation of Pies. She is an adventurer at heart and can't wait to be just as famous as her Uncle and Mentor, Rockhoof. She is the older half-sister of Eros, though she only knows him to be her cousin.

Eros Ambrosia Pie, more commonly called Ero [Like Arrow]. He's is the illegitimate and secret son of Pinkie and Mudbriar. Growing up life was rather tough for him and his mother, but he loved spending time with his Aunt Rainbow and her family and later his adoptive father, Silver Zoom. Once they moved to Ponyville it was a bit much for him. So many other fillies and colts wanted to be his friends, but he wasn't sure he wanted to get too close to them. Over time he learns to make friends with the help of the Cake twins. He wonders about his real father, but doesn't bring it up. He likes to hear Uncle Rockhoof's stories about bravery as he is a bit of a wimp and hates conflict. He is the closest to his Aunt Limestone whom he tells EVERYTHING. He sees his cousin/half-sister all the time at school, but due to his mother not being able to face her again he almost never sees his Aunt Maud. When everyone else is too busy likes to help is Aunt Marble bake and take care of his younger sister, Thalia and little cousin Magni.

Thalia Pie is the second youngest of the 3rd generation of Pies. She loves to fly with her father and have fun at parties. When others are feeling down she can almost sense it and it bothers her as much as it bothers them. She absolutely adores her big brother and loves to dress up and baby her little cousin. She spends most of her time with her Aunt Marble as she loves helping her and then a little bit of time with her Aunt Maud as she doesn't get to see her often. She is rather nervous around Limestone as she gets into trouble a lot around her.

Magni is the only son of Marble Pie and Rockhoof. He is the baby of the group and gets along with them all. He can be a bit awkward at times as he doesn't really understand social ques, but he means well. His goal is to get big and strong like his father and to one day take over the farm.
