Appearence:
Pale skin and gray-ish purple hair that he wears unsymmetrical, pink eyes. He doesn't look like it, but he trains his body pretty hard, so he is pretty muscular and stands around 5"8'. There are lugs of horns hidden under his hair which grow constantly, but as he doesn't like them so once they have grown a bit, he trims them.

Personality:
Akio has a calm and gentle personality and strives to leave a good impression. That said, he is pretty open and relaxed when he is with friends. So all-in-all a quite the normal guy.
Once in combat though, he gets rather serious and if necessary, he takes command. In those situations he seems arrogant and bossy, he doesn't like that about himself and always apologizes afterwards.
Other than that he just tries his best to make friends and in school to make his parents pround.

Quirk:
Armor Demons
Explanation:
His Quirk allows Akio to summon socalled "Armor Demons" which can attach themselves to his body and turn into armor-parts. When attached they also enhance the physical abilities of the body-part to a certain degree.
They can also become 'extra' bodyparts, but it takes a lot of control to hold those forms. (e.g. Wings or a Tail)
When they are not attached, they can be used as spies, since they are linked to his eyes and ears. Everything they see or hear, he can, too. In this case they appear as small animalshaped creatures.

Weakness:
His control over his demons lessens, the more of them he summons at the same time, and if he uses too many of them as spies, he gets terrible headaches because of the immense cognitive overload.

Backstory:
Of all the kids in kindergarden, Akio developed his quirk first. Small redish-black creatures, in the form of small animals, started to surround him and protected him from falls etc.
He was so happy and proud, as were his parents and guardians at the Facility.
Tough his uncle thought otherwise.
Akios family on his fathers side were very religious and all had quirks that could either summon angelic beings as support, holy armor or could generate light or even wings. They were very proud of that linage and seeing that the offspring of his brother had a quirk seemingly related to the devil must have been a punishment.
A punishment for marrying that Kitsune-Woman from Japan, with her Yokai-related quirk-linage. Of course the wouldn't mix well.
In the years that followed, Akio was tortured by his uncle, who tried to exorcise him, to get rid of that devilish quirk. He also incited some of the children at the elementary school against his nephew.
It took a long time, but Akio had the support of everyone else in his family and the teachers and finally told what has been done to him, that he was bullied and just couldn't take it anymore.

After his uncle was arrested for abuse and other criminal activites, his father and mother decided to move to Japan to his mothers family. They greeted them with open arms and after some time of psychological therapy and home schooling Akio got over everything he endured and though still kinda shy he wanted to take on middle school.

On his first day as a second-year, it took quiet a while for him to recover, he was a bit intimidated by the mass of students and almost backed out, if not for a pink-lively girl bumping into him.
Her name was Mina Ashido, a first-year, and with her excitement and wide smile she blew away all of Akios worries.
Over time the became close friends and she helped him much with the whole fitting-in and being-yourself. This way he found friends in his class and grew more and more confident. He also met a black haired boy called Eijiro Kirishima, who become like a younger brother to him. Those were all reasons he grew more and more onto the idea of becoming a pro hero.

Graduation came and his goal was U.A.
With a pretty good result in the written exams and a 36/57 score in the the practical exam he made it into the Hero course 1-A (more on that later; artwork planned)
