Definition 'Sylph (also called sylphid) is a mythological creature in the Western tradition. The term originates in Paracelsus, who describes sylphs as invisible beings of the air, elementals of air'.
I decided to portray this as a merging of figure and ethereal presence, like the creation of one, and loss of another, in the transitional period, which is what most of this series represents. As is in my other creations I always use a female form to depict metaphors which surround mythology.
Please feel free to suggest this to groups related to work such as this, id really appreciate it, Im sure there are many I don't know about yet
