I promised Dragoness-of-Night some tutorials wayyyyyyy back, and other than taking shamefully long to follow through, I hope this one is helpful. I was happy with how the finished piece looks on the site , so that's a big plus.ΒThough, as I was recently reminded, I'm presuming at least an intermediate level of photoshop knowledge. We've got layer masks and stuff here, so I apologize in advance if I'm not explaining it well enough.

Sometimes itΒ΄s a shame that you donΒ΄t have time to draw the background too, instead you use a photo or some photoshop effect, because you can do very nice environments. The pieces would be more coherent, with both the characters and environments in the same technique and mood.
