Stupid title, but i didnt want to do the "5th gen starters" i was almost going to do.Anyway, this is my first attempt at painting in Paint Tool Sai, having the starters out gave me something quick to practise with.
I used 's tutorial to help, but i havent quite gotten the hang of it yet. Its only my first try though, still getting used to the blending thing. Its pretty fun to muck around with XD
See how much better mijamaru looks when you just give it a longer body and a better nose? I wish this is what it looked like.
Oh yeah did you guys notice? I changed my watermark! ^_^ It needed an update i think.
If you guys can give me any tips or find any good tutorials on how to use paint tool sai better, please let me know! 83

I'm going with the otter one. It's definitely the cutest, and you did it full justice here.
I love the art styles here, but I can't offer you any critique... cuz I've never used Paint Tool Sai before. Best of luck to you, though!

say, since you've had/have multiple tablets, I'm outright assuming one of those might have been a wacom tablet.
so ... do you happen to have "art rage" (the drawing program, that is), and if so, what do you think of it compared to this "paint tool sai"?

Yup my current one is ^_^ i'd never go back to cheapie tablet thats for sure.
I've never tried art rage, i have heard of it though. Cant really offer a comparison.

oh my gosh, this is very good! I'm pretty sure you got everything down. I also love the grass starter pokemon. It looks like a cross between cyndaquil and maybe flygon. haha great job!

When I first saw the Fire starter's shadow ,and that tail ,I was almost sure in that it must be a pig ,only cos the long ears I was not absolutely sure hehe
I love the Sai too ,but I dont have an activation key sadly ,so I cant use it fully nouuuuz! ;3;
