My first entry for 2011. My OC character Kes Allyntahl who first came alive in '92 from a sketch done in boredom in my college religious studies class. I didn't intend her to become a Mary-sue character for some fandom, she arose more out of an evolutionary speculative idea of what would of have happened if humans evolved from something catlike instead of something simian. However if she was granted some magical powers, would that make her Sueish? If say she had a cloak that turned her into a fox or raven, is that taking it to the whole Mary Sue freak extreme? Should I just limit it to one animal form or have the cloak do some less flashy magic stuff like turn into a waterproof tent or boat? If you want, you can give me some advice, please let me know!

Also, the ability to fade into the darkness and apear as animals is a pretty common bit of mythology among indians. Shamns were believed to be able to shapeshift into animals.
