I just looked at it closer, and I see what you mean . . . but the rest still seems kind of grainy, I guess . . . I do like the focus idea, though.

the way of coming lightning from the right is excellent, great!!!

on the second photo in the right, the blur gives something more, really!!!!

the parents seems so happy, the expression of the future mom in the second one is so perfect!!!

I like the one on the right more as well because I focused on the belly. Was going to submit just that one, but then I figured i'd get too many 'it's too blurry' (which it's not) comments so I grouped it with the other one. I'm glad you like it.
