i love the purple background. can't say i'm fond of the clothes they're wearing, but i actually do like the feeling it gives them. they look casual. comfortable together. like they don't need to impress each other and can just be themselves.

The clothes are not perfect no, this was more of a spontaneous 'hey let's take a snap' sort of moment so there's no styling involved.

i'm going into this with no expectations though, m. i'm going to go, i'm going to have a good night, and what happens beyond that i will leave to chance, take slowly, and not jump into with both feet. if nothing else comes, i will have at least made a new friend.
but at least, as you say, she's a real life person this time and not someone a continent away.

that's exactly how i'm looking at it. it's so long since i met new people to hang out with in a sense. it gets harder as you get older i think, but lately i've met both lindsay, and now sarah and. . . yes, i know it appears i have no male friends, but i do, you know. i promise.
i intend to -whatever we end up doing - just go out, have fun, be myself and let it take us where it's meant to.

It almost looks like we caught them in the middle of something . . . they're so casual looking. I'm not that crazy about the purple background because it seems not right for the couple. But, I love how they are clinging to each other.
