I can't tell you enough how stoked I am about this image. This is so close to the kind of photography I want to be doing.
I had this idea of using sequins on lips for a while. When I found this chair (underneath all the clothes and stuff) at +suzi9mm 's I just fell for it. It looks so gorgeous in my opinion. If I had a chair like that it would be in all of my pictures.
Anyways, this was supposed to be more of a straightforward makeup shot, but the chair was too yummy to leave out. And even though you can't see the lips as clearly I think they still add that glamour.Model is the ever-gorgeous +suzi9mm .

Gorgeous colors, I love her hair, and the contrast of the cushion, but somehow the sequin lipstick detracts the viewer. I can accept the hair as the center of the concept, and the eyes are de-emphasized nicely such that they are still beautiful without taking away from the hair, but the it is difficult with such amazing hair to think that the lips were intended to be the center?
Or were you trying twin poles of hair and lips for a symmetrical approach?
Anyway, beautiful shot. I think with just an even shaded burgandy lipstick the concept would have come across as her thoughts emanating from her scalp through the hair, and expressed her thoughtful expression more harmoniously.

The hairstyle and lips are so gorgeous, and the texture of the chair really adds to the contrast. Great lighting and a beautiful model.

Wow! The hair looks amazing, sweeping across the front. And the sequines on the lips! amazing, I did a shot (in my gallery) with sequines on the cheek, but never thought of lips before!

I saw this on your site and it struck me... so I came to your DA site looking for it, I think this is one of the best photographs I've seen in such a long time, of course helped by Suzi's stunning beauty (godihateher) lol, there's not a flaw in this picture, everything is so unnaturally perfect, I love it, I'm faving it and don't try to talk me out of it

I never really realized how absolutely gorgeous she looked in this photo. Maybe its the expression, or maybe coz there's more colour to her skin than her usual pale beauty lol. Is it the hair? The eyes or those lips?
I dont know but i love it and i cant stop lookin at her (almost lezzy like! lol)
I also think this is the best photo anyone has taken of her
