Haven't really considered any additions yet. Main reason it appears so exposed is because the add on armour would be very bulky with the Undersuit, and because the Undersuit itself provides protection exceeding that of the heavy Frontline variant of SPARO-IV.Β

Not a huge deal. This suit more or less combines the three original ones into one package, which works out financially because just one of these is roughly equivalent to the combined cost of a set of three for SPARO-IV. Variations with SPARO-V are minor things like different vambraces.Β

Each SPARO-V is about two million Dura.
ECE is closer to a billion.
Dura are essentially dollars.
There are two kinds of money in the Raverse. Currency used by countries (like the Dura), and System Bonds.Β
System Bonds are what other currencies are exchanged into when doing interplanetary business. Your home currency is converted to SB, and can then be used if a place accepts it as currency, or exchanged into the currency of the locale you're visiting.Β

There are two ECE suits, but they aren't used by any unit. Only individuals. Three people wear them in total. By the time SPARO-V comes around, the ECE is locked up at JAPAD (kinda like DARPA).
