Description
The second installment for 's commission, with my original character, Melisa fighting back against the female jock boxer, April North from the Popeye cartoon 'Never Kick a Woman' from the previous pic. --Melisa is younger, smaller, and definitely has a lot less muscle compared to the Mae West caricature, but the kid's far from weak, and in general is no push over at all. I intended for her to be in a family of athletes and out going adventurers, so what this guy asked me to draw is not far off from how I intended her to be.
Looking at this, I feel I need to work more on certain moves like hooks, as well as bruises and different angles to proportions of a character. :/

Melisa has a lot of spunk!Ā She stuns April with a punch to the only soft spot on her muscular body.Ā That flirtatious eye-batting smile is quickly replaced by a stunned, pained expression as April is thrown off balance by this unexpected pain.Ā April is not invulnerable after all.Ā Mel quickly follows up with her most powerful hook, turning April's head and blackening her eye.Ā If she can get in a few more shots like that, she might have a chance after all!
