It's a pity that Sauron couldn't have simply created She-Uruks from the ribs of predominantly male Uruks. If the personas of the Captains and Warchiefs are any indication, without a proper mate, the Orcish race has become sexually depraved.

Technically, there were female orcs in Tolkien's world they just weren't mentioned in the books.
