So recently I was listening to paleoartist Brian Engh's own rap track he entitled as "Earth Beasts Awaken" under his alias as "The Historian Himself." It's basically about reptilian kaiju-like monsters that evolved from pterosaurs, dinosaurs, and other reptiles from the Mesozoic waking up and wreking havoc on the human race and possibly destroying all higher forms of mammal species on the planet. The album included sketches of some of said monsters which did resemble mesozoic reptiles, including a giant pterosaur-like monster that was prolly influenced by Rodan. There are even a couple music videos of it if you look up "Earth Beasts Awaken."

I also saw some fan-made concepts for Earth Beasts by Hyrotrioskjan, which included more monsters heavily influenced by pterosaurs, theropod dinosaurs, and other reptiles, even terror birds, which makes sense given that birds ARE dinosaurs, so technically they also count as reptiles.

So this got me thinking... If there are reptilian/avian Earth Beasts out to destroy the human race and possibly wipe out other types of mammals, then what if there would be mammalian earth beasts who would rise up to oppose them?

Not just mammals, but also mammal-like reptiles (and outdated name I know, but you know what I mean) and their relatives of the Permian and Early and Mid Mesozoic; sooooo basically Snyapsids vs. Diapsids/Sauropsids.

I got a couple concept images thus far.

1. The Great Behemoth, (yes it's technically a homage to one of the creatures from Godzilla: King of the Monsters) the elephant god; inspired by both ancient mammoths and modern elephants.
2. Two giant synapsids survaying the aftermatch of the devestation caused by the diapsid Earth Beasts while some human survivors among them. Based on Anteosaurus and Styracocephalus.
3. An indricothere with a rhino-like horny protrusion on it's head, making it look almost like a unicorn
4. A giant elk, strolling across the corvas of as a human gazes in awe. Obviously based on Megaloceros.

If you guys have more ideas for mammals or stem-mammals I could use for Earth Beasts or Kaiju in general, let me know.
